When it comes to a point where people use your arguments in a mocking manner, you know it's pretty stupid. As you mentioned, "shit taste" is probably the most common, to a point where people start acknowledging they have shit taste as an underhanded way of telling others they don't really care what others think of them. |

| I think it has to be that one time when I saw some user saying that the animated adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders (the one from 2014-2015) was bad because Dio's battle outfit during the final battle wasn't yellow enough. Is as good as it sounds. |

| Besides many of the above mentioned (plot armor/asspull, you rated this show X so opinion discarded, using the shitaste card seriously, and etc.) there's one that I'm particularly getting more and more annoyed at: "You could describe this character/story in a single phrase." People say it like it's something negative. Like complexity and not straightforwardness is desirable. Not to mention that more often than not such phrase doesn't even begin to describe the character/story, it's just a lazy retelling that ignores context and pretty much follows a circular reasoning in which you can say that a show is dumb because you dumbed it down in the first place. |
