| Alternatively, if you want to find a series on your own, go to the anime search tab, pick a genre, scroll down to the bottom of the page (set it as "sort by most members" if it isn't already) and instead of clicking on the button that will take you to the next page, click on the one that will take you to the last page and work your way up from there. |

Monotonous Purgatory is a haunting music video and Yubi wo nusunda onna a quite dark and disturbing tale with a lot of effective atmosphere. Her other short is less impressive but still interesting to watch. I'd add her to the above recommendations. |

It's chinese so at first it will be really weird but after two episodes i already got used to it and it feels normal now. Same with 3D animation, when watching first episode I even had thoughts of just dropping it because characters are 3D and they feel weird sometimes, but sometimes actually really good, don't let this 3D animation bother you, it's actually not bad and you'll get used to it in a few episodes. Only minus is that english subs are not yet out for all 12 episodes, there are fansubs (really good) with 9 episodes subbed and officially sanctioned subs with 5 episodes subbed: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1702232 I honestly don't understand why it has so low member count on MAL, maybe because it was added recently or because it's chinese or some other stuff but trust me, it does not deserve to be this unpopular in MAL. I've seen worse anime with 300k and more members. |
