| ZZ is not good. I appreciate Zeta Gundam more since I have had time to think on it. The ending is pretty nihilistic and bleak as shit. And the show does a good job of handling its characters. |

| Eh. In the end the stories in the Go! Princess movie were way too random. Even though I didn't care for the Heartcatch movie that much, at least it had relevance in relation to the main storyline. The Go! Princess movie was all over the place with what might be imagined as leftover or abandoned concepts from the team that developed this iteraton, namely further worlds beyond earth and Hope Kingdom. Unfortunately, as I said, they're thrown into these situations much too randomly, and even in the "meat" of the movie, the second part, the storyline wasn't given enough time to develop context and generally make the concept as enjoyable as it could and honestly should be. It just left me wanting to shake my screen and complain to Toei for wasting all of the creativity that went into the second part in particular. Completely skippable yet again. Sapewloth said: Go! So Futari wa & Max Heart --> Splash Star --> Yes! 5 & Gogo! --> Fresh. After that I'll be pretty open-ended on Precure since I'm not in a "rush" to watch Suite, Smile, Mahoutsukai, etc., though I may just keep watching them in release order since I'm interested in the crossover movies. Current mood dictates that I'll be taking a break from mahou shoujo after Go! Princess, but we'll see. |

There's an outside possibility that I'll finish tonight, but it's unlikely. I ironically tend to be busier on the weekends than during the week, so I'll probably finish up tomorrow or Saturday. Close being back has indeed been pretty great. |

| Wait, Go! Princess is actually going to devote ten or eleven episodes to the final arc? Hype if so. The final arcs always tend to be the best. That episode 39 was great stuff, btw. On par with Lock's final battle. Edit: Whoa. Episode 41 was the Yui episode I needed that I had no idea I even wanted. That was so cool. |

| Weirdly I feel like this is the first major decision Trump has made that I haven't vehemently disagreed with. It feels a bit of a kneejerk and a whiplash from his statements on Assad earlier this week but something obviously had to be done to show that we won't tolerate regimes that Sarin Gas their own people. |
