It really is its own beast and im happy its getting the praise for that it so rightfully deserves. the game has an ingenious idea to keep the player constant active with how you can recover stamina if you time pressing R1(the button you hold to switch stances) to a blue circle that envelops you after an attack chain, this encourages you to always been up front and attacking even with heavy stance attacks that consume a load of stamina. They honestly could of just kept the 3 stances and that was it but they went the extra mile and added unlockable combos and moves unique to every weapon that just makes things go even deeper. |
