| I had the same problem with Saki. Honestly I didn't really notice until about halfway in, but after that it became an important plot element for some reason and that got pretty annoying. I think they expect that the target demographic of Saki will appreciate large breasts. It makes it a bit hard to watch it with other people, though. |

| @Mayumi You can't understand how that works? In Clannad After Story they made an effort to make the eyes smaller than they were in the first anime because of major complaints. Character design is important and if the character designs are extremely unappealing to you then it will make the anime less enjoyable. My preference for breast size is average size, but I do prefer flat chests over large breasts. The large breasts in Vanadis actually bothered me to the point that I may have even given it a higher score if the breasts were smaller (probably not if nothing else was changed, but it's still an important factor). I don't think it's unreasonable for someone to dislike something if the characters are drawn in a way that is unattractive to them. |
