It's focused on the relationships between Chihiro and the people around him (there's some yaoi subtext, but I don't think that would disqualify it). You're pretty much caught up with it and you aren't using it for any other challenges so it seems like a good decision.I've had Kiznaiver down for an anime that focuses on non-romantic relationships since the first few episodes aired and it was focused on friendship and stuff like that. But in the recent episodes, everything went to hell with a love pentagon so it doesn't fit anymore does it..? need confirmation. oh that's true, thanks. #30characters |

@Ryuuzahar Watch an anime with a main cast mainly of one gender: Free It's better than what it looks like. Kimi to Boku Sketchbook Full Colors There's no romance in any of them. There is some romance in Kimi to Boku but most of it is in the second season I think. You watched a lot of the anime I had in mind for "Watch an anime with children as the main cast" but if you don't mind a shoujo: Gakuen Alice Professional in his field: Maybe Claymore Full Metal Panic You could also watch the second season of: Ghost in the Shell SAC Watch an anime adapted from a manga with a score of 8.0 or higher: Bokurano Can also works for "Watch an anime with children as the main cast" Gansta Just so you know, the ending is rushed. Monster Shiki Not really sure if you're going to like this one. I'm not sure if you're going to like my recommendations. I tried to find some anime that are closer to what you like but it's a bit hard with these categories. |

Watch an anime that focuses on a couple with a romantic relationship // Hoshi no Koe --- they aren't in a romantic relationship For the missing ones the one in ptw too long it's up to you, since you are the one who knows for how long those have been there. For the 2-cour one, based on your PTW list, you could try http://myanimelist.net/anime/26/Texhnolyze http://myanimelist.net/anime/2158/Terra_e_TV http://myanimelist.net/anime/721/Princess_Tutu http://myanimelist.net/anime/593/Mugen_no_Ryvius since they tend to be liked most of the time |

Question: "Watch an anime one-/two-/three-cours (or more) in length (easy/medium/hard)" ^Can somebody explain me what that means? Is it a long anime? And I assume I have to pick the hard section one, if I chose the hard path? "Choose a random trope from TVTropes and watch an anime listed under the trope" ^I dont get this one either. I dont see any anime on this site. :P Thanks in addition for helping me :)) |

"What means one-/two-/three-cours (or more) in length?" -- Normally a "cour" is the three-months period often used to divide the seasons. The length for the anime tends to be: 1-cours : 11 - 13 episodes (regularly over the course of a season) 2-cours : 23 - 26 episodes 3-cours or more : more than 34 episodes So easy is 11-13 eps at least, medium is atleast 23eps, hard is at least 34 eps. For the TVTropes one, You got to TVTropes.com, click the button that says random trope, scroll down until you see the Anime+Manga tab, open the tab, pick something from there, feel free to random until you find something interesting. |

Hello! I need help for a couple of things: Watch an award-winning work >>I'd preferably like a movie but if a series is really good I wouldn't mind either. Technically I've seen a lot of the award-winning movies but I didn't know about MAL back then. An anime with children as the main cast >>Is Pupipo! okay? I noticed its about a 5th grader which usually means they're 10-11 years old. Then again, I only saw one ep so there may be more adult presence later?? Watch a Historical, Military or Police anime >>Does movies or specials work here? I have a Conan special I'm planning on watching but I wasn't sure if it has to be TV type. An anime with an archetype as a main character >>Preferably something other than Madoka, which I do realize is on my PTW but I'm not exactly sure if I want to watch it yet... if that makes sense An anime recommend by another participant >>I'm not picky about my genres nor do I care about the length. Although currently, I'm on a short anime kick. Thanks in advance! My challenge list for reference: link. The rest of my blanks needs me to go and look at what other people have done so I haven't touched it yet. |

Technically I've seen a lot of the award-winning movies but I didn't know about MAL back then. Tsumiki no Ie (short film) Watch a Historical, Military or Police anime >>Does movies or specials work here? I have a Conan special I'm planning on watching but I wasn't sure if it has to be TV type. None of the challenges have to be type TV. People had decided that the cour challenge and season challenge would be logical to have as only type tv (only TV series are considered to have cours and seasons for non-TV anime work differently), but it has been decided that you don't have to watch a TV series for any of the challenges. An anime with an archetype as a main character >>Preferably something other than Madoka, which I do realize is on my PTW but I'm not exactly sure if I want to watch it yet... if that makes sense Anne Happy (genki girl), Elfen Lied (yandere), Zombie Desu Ka? (magical girl) An anime recommend by another participant >>I'm not picky about my genres nor do I care about the length. Although currently, I'm on a short anime kick. Non Non Biyori is a good one. Detroit Metal City is also good and it's quite short (150 minutes). |

It's based in the middle-age in europe. It features some witty dialouge and its focus is on trading/peddling aside from the romance. The other one is harder because shows that feature real arche-type characters are not that great most of the times. Monster does focus on characters who are somewhat isolated in their journeys and deals with psychology, various moral issues, and some philosophy. It is on the longer side, but worth the watch. Kino's Journey is another you may like. It focuses on Kino, and her motorad Hermes as they travel around visiting different countries. They only stay 3 days and learn about the country. There is a lot of philosophy and getting into how people justify what they do. It can get rather deep. |
