| Well there are a few popular ones, but in my expierience it's because anime girls with massively oversized tits tend to just be there as eye candy. The whole reason for having such huge breasts is just for fanservice right? So by doing that you're already making it clear that the character isn't there for any interesting characterization or depth, but solely for ogling. In other words they tend to have incredibly bland personalities and incredibly shallow writing. Their boobs literally make up their entire character, and quite frankly that isn't a very memorable trait. | Depends on the plot...... Not every character is bad just because of da boobs, if the character is well developed into the plot/story of the anime then there's nothing wrong with the character and you'll probably enjoy the character like you would with anyone else |

| As far as how the oppai looks I don't exactly mind it.... even if they're ridiculous and the way they move/bounce around legit makes zero sense. But when I do hate characters with huge bobs, it's usually because of the fanservice (some get excessive and pointless = obnoxious), or because the character herself is annoying. I especially don't like seeing the typical airhead/klutz big breasted woman in animes. |

| Seems like my definition of "huge" is different considering the references I see I'd define as "big". All the "huge" breasted girls I've seen are usually like cameo characters, supporting characters. Characters which people won't even really remember unless those breasts mesmerized them I guess... Tried looking up a few huge breasted characters and the few I looked at on mal have less than like 10 favorites... I guess melons really are a turn off for like 9/10 people lol. Guess that proves the point here... Or the animes just have a very very small base of people. Personally, I don't really care about their breasts since I don't even really look at them aside from the ecchi shots and such. (Or when they stand out) I care more about the personality, overall looks (posture? hair, eyes?, clothes, etc). Long as the breasts aren't deformed or showboated. (I think that's the term?) I don't care. |

| 1) Huge breasts have only fetish appeal, and most men like moderately-sized breasts. 2) Japanese have a fetish for schoolgirls, and schoolgirls don't usually have huge breasts. So there are few huge-breasted characters in the first place. For example, Satou, Shouji (author of Highschool of the Dead and Triage X) is the only author I know about that adds a lot of huge-breasted characters to works that aren't about huge breasts. 3) For some reason, huge-breasted characters tend to default to "airhead" or "moe blob" personality. While these personalities work fine for the story, they don't make a character popular. Characters who aren't like that can be quite good and popular. Rias Gremory (Highschool DxD), Saeko Busujima (HotD), Maou (Maoyuu)... 4) Some people say that Mai-sempai from Musaigen Phantom World doesn't have any traits besides her breasts. It's obviously (for me) untrue, so it lead me to think that some people have trouble seeing any other trait in a character if she has impressive breasts. See also: thinking with one's penis. |

He also concluded that the bigger the breast size, the stupider the chick (based on some blonde chick from Sora no Oto-something). But I digress. I don't care for tits and asses in general so that's why I avoid most ecchi series and it's pretty unrealistic to assume every female on the planet has huge tits that defy laws of physics. Or jiggle around rifles and bullets (I'm looking at you, HSotD). I would agree with people who say that as long as a character only has tits going for her, it's not particularly liked, ie. if she's just a useless moe blob, an eye-candy or an outright bitch. But then again, that goes for most female characters, big boobs not necessarily included. I do laugh my ass off when I see big boobs that are perfectly round and perky. Sorry guys, no such things, unless they're made of plastic~ And those Queen's Blade images. That shit is just downright scary. Bottom line is - I don't give two shits about boobs as long as the character also has some semblance of a brain in her skull. Nothing is worse than a brainless chick. |
