| Mine would be Attack on Titan, which was also the first anime I've watched. I always wanted to try out watching anime, and after seeing so many videos I finally decided to watch one. The anime just left me in awe, I never expected anime to be this good. The animation style was really cool and fitting in my opinion and everything like the fights, music etc. were so good. Still one of my favorites till this day. |

| I added like 30 animes together when I joined. And I rate according to genre rather than overall experience so whatever I feel like best anime in that genre I give a 10. I have rated only dbz not according to that cause I watched it when I was young and it was my favourite "cartoon" at that time I don't wanna rewatch and try to find flaws in it. ;) |

| Noragami got a 9 from me , i almost gave a 10 . Decent story , good characters (liked them all) , art was very well done, the comedy was actually good (and i'm kinda picky when it comes to comedy) . it was a breath of fresh air . Oh and that opening :p ( never skipped it ) |

| Not a single one. Only tasteless millennials rating 10 solely on enjoyability or because "they cried" do that. I can find flaws even in the best Ghibli and to get a 10, a workpiece got not only to be technically flawless but also have that timelessness which could make anyone relate. The title must be enough as a standalone. It mustn't pander to anyone's fantasy, be coherent with its thematics, have coherent world building, not have yet another nice premise thrown out, not hide its lazy writing with pseudo sense of mystery (plot holes which hinder full comprehension is never a mark of quality; subtlety in narration is), have flawless characterization (archetypes aren't a problem but one dimensional protagonists are) and get quality plot staging (fine production value: artwork, art direction for sceneries, artful angle of views), and benefit from fine chara design and sound of course. It mustn't resort in excess to the following cop out Joker: - the magic/paranormal element - the alien scientific plot point (introducing technobabble and infodump) - pseudo depth (never confuse for the sake of posing as a meaningful masterpiece! Rahxephon, anyone?) - blurry symbolism (I am looking at you Evangelion) - Surrealism These last point don't exclude shows to be good. They just cannot be objectively perfect if they hack their way cheaply. |

| Cowboy Bebop. DBZ introduced me to anime, and let me know that "this is more than what American cartoons are doing" However, Bebop is what defined my love for anime, and solidified that it was truly a medium that could evoke not only action & excitement, but also drama & emotion. It was also a show where I just reveled in how great the art was and it introduced me to that super-detailed, dark, gritty art style... which unfortunately seems to be almost entirely absent from anime nowadays. :/ |

| I change my scores a lot, back then my first 10 was probably Baccano! but it's not a 10 anymore because back then 8 was pretty much my average and now my average is 5. My first 10 since I've been using the new (correct) scoring system is Mushishi. |

| Hunter x Hunter (2011) was the first show I rated a 10. And actually looking back on the decision, I greatly take pride on the fact that I rated it a 10. It's my favorite show of all time and I think that if the show had ended right after the Chimera Ant arc, more 10/10 scores would be scored and it would be rated a little higher, maybe even would've overtaken FMA:B. Though I can greatly relate to people inclining to give HxH a 9 rather than a 10/10, (As Chairman Election Arc gave a really satisfying end to the series, it was still greatly outmatched by the sheer greatness of the CA arc) I still think that the fact I rated it a 10 is the best thing I did looking back at my anime watching history. It's a superb show and a true masterpiece. |

| Dragon Ball Z because I was a fucking idiot child. Other than that though, probably The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. I think I might have seen K-On! Season 2 before then which at the moment is what I'd say is my all time favourite anime. Though I actually only gave it a 9/10 on my first viewing. It wasn't until further re-watches later down the line that my score got bumped up to a perfect 10/10. |
