| The plot twist was cool, but all of this story stuff is so fucking silly still that it's difficult to take any of it seriously. Yet, it seems like the show wants the viewer to do exactly that. Really wish this show didn't go in this direction. |

| What a fucking episode. Best episode yet. Ragyo Kiryuin confirmed to be coldest mother ever. Nice to see Nui not have a smug face anymore. It was hard watching Satsuki get her ass beat. It something you definitely don't see often. So Ryuuko and Satsuki are sisters. I always had a hunch about that but it's confirmed now. Didn't blow my mind as I thought it would. Amazing episode! |

| Ryuko is Ragyo's daughter? I don't know what to think of this. Best moment of this episode was brainwashed Ryuko and Satsuki going at it (goosebumps everywhere). What an insane episode rating by the way, understandable, but it's a bit too high still. Still the best episode of Kill La Kill. |

| FINALLY THE TRUTH IS REVEALED! okay I pretty much knew about this all along mostly due to the words Scissor Sisters being thrown about constantly last year, even without that it was still pretty obvious, I mean they both have similar faces, they can both wear Kamui's, also consider the fact that until a few episodes ago Ryuko's mother and Satsuki's father haven't been mentioned at all. |

My reaction: OH MY GOD. Knew they were going to pileup some mindblowing shit on top of the initial twist. From the Episode 16 discussion thread: ZeroDragon said: Wow all of that stuff regarding the Primordial Life Fiber and its origin and intent. I was anticipating this episode for some time now and the content of the revelations were completely expected considering how the studio that made this show was founded by people who had worked on Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gurren Lagann. So of course, the twist in this episode is only the beginning and I'm excited for the other inevitable twists to come. Well they delivered impressively so far and will most certainly continue to do so. Ah so Satsuki was against her mother all along. It all makes sense now why Satsuki didn't just simply eliminate Ryuko when she could have done so easily, why she fancied herself a savior for humanity, why she's ruthless yet merciful and possesses a soft side that seems at odds against the image she's built for herself, and why she established such a hierarchical system. It was all an elaborate plot to gather the strongest warriors in order to rise against a threat to humanity while operating under the guise of a powerhungry egotistical tyrant that her mother would approve and not be suspicious of. O_O Ryuko is Satsuki's sister and the rejected daughter that had been bound with life fibers??? O_O Well that explains her crazy abilities. |

| Oh shit! I had a feeling during the first half of the episode, but Ryuko's hair color didn't match the baby, so I waved it off >:O I was like.... that baby only fell down the hole. She could've survived lol. Matoi hakase's age seemed awfully suspicious to be Ryuko's biological father in the first place anyways haha |

| Most epic episode of anime I've ever seen. Literally every second and every inch of the screen was packed with aural stimulation. If the rest of the series is even close to this level, it'll make up for that mild lull mid-season and go down as one of my favorites. |

| Satsuki wasn't the real deal after all and Junketsu was rather wearing her than the other way around. On top of losing her Kamui she also got manhandled by Ragyou. It doesn't look good for Ryuuko either and what about the daughter part ???? This show has been one hell of a blast so far, one episode better than the other. |

| Wow!! This is definitely the highlight of the series! So many revelations, backstabbing and truths revealed. So Matoi and Satsuki are true blood sisters. Yeah, when I saw Satsuki's sister fell, I thought. What if that was Matoi. Turns out it was :O Even Ragyou used Junketsu :O Seeing Satsuki beat up like that :( I'm sure they will make a comeback. They have to!!! Can't wait for the next one! |
