| I wonder what the significance of Oiwa's uncanny hairstyle resemblance to Buddha is? And the fact they showed the buddha statue with the face fallen on the ground several times. Is it to suggest that buddhism is a 'selfish' religion at its core? |

| I thought the arc was pretty funny, and super crazy, not sure I expected it to end like that though. I liked how they looked like members of Kiss when possessed! lol. Sucking up all the souls was super weird! and unexpected lol. At least the place went back to how it used to be. Gin was funny sending the souls to heaven with the song lol. I thought Rei and Gin were pretty cute together, I'd ship them. |

| One of the weakest arcs, not very funny and dragged on too much. Story felt very inconclusive which is unusual for Gintama. |

| I thought the arc ended up being alright. First episode was amazing, but the constant jokes with the annoying brief trio got old fast (Plus, not being Japanese makes that joke really culture specific). The fight with everyone going inside Gin was actually pretty good for a non major arc. The gag with Xavier at the end was also hilarious. Agree though that the random giant ghost at the end was random and unecessary, and the old lady's monologue was insanely cliche and rushed. Also, as stated before; way too many loose ends that didn't get addressed (How Otose factored into everything, as well as how Rei died). Overall, this is probably the weakest arc in the series so far (That was at least 3 episodes). Still enjoyable, but nothing really too memorable. |
| Wagahai, too, would have liked to know how Rei died. Too bad they left that hanging. No pun intended. The arc had a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, but uncharacteristically the serious bit didn't really land as well as it usually does in Gintama - which is why the second half felt inferior. A mix of too cliche, too abrupt, and too disjointed. I can never get enough of Sugita as a stand-user. More please. |

| A pretty good arc. I felt that it ws a bit dragged out. But aside from that, the rest was crazy good. The comedy was gold. The references were perfect. And Gintoki was a goat as always. Xavier, the unknown character, was legendary. The OST was pretty good. Espically the last one when the old hag told her speech. |

| I knew they were saving Xavier for this moment. Well this was definitely a weaker small arc by gintama. Had some good moments and stands but pretty weak overall. |

| As with all the past 4 episodes, this felt felt very random and it wasn't supposed to be a serious arc to begin with, but a happy ending is a happy ending even if it was somewhat boring. I'm sad that Gintama and Rei didn't interact at the end, their friendship is great. Although there were some very funny moments with the missionary guy, lol. |

| This arc overstayed its welcome by at least an episode (last one could be cut for the most part and nothing would change), but at the same time I wouldn't want the author to feel bad for suddenly including ghosts and medium powers out of left field. On the contrary I'm glad that there wasn't a "Gintoki wakes up" copout in the end. The main issue here is definitely pacing. |
