| According to Dengeki Girl's Style magazine, otome visual novel Kamigami no Asobi - Ludere Deorum will get an anime adaptation. The game is produced by the developer of Uta no Prince-sama, Broccoli. Character design is by Yone Kazuki (Hakuouki, Hiiro no Kakera). The game went on sale in Japan on October 24, 2013. Story Gods are an existence that must hold love for humans and be worshiped by humans. Yui Kusanagi, the daughter of a Shinto shrine, happens upon a mysterious sword in her cellar one spring day. The sword's power throws her into an unknown world, and it is here she encounters Zeus, the chief god of Greek mythology. He informs her that the weak bond between gods and humans is causing a negative impact on the world. To fix this phenomenon, Zeus wants her to go to a school in a garden world he created, live together with the problematic gods, and teach them about what humans are and the meaning of love. | Argh. I only watched two anime based on otome games, and I immediately decided I'd never ever seen one again. But I opened this thread, read the seiyuu cast and... ughh. If the cast is going to be the same, I know I'll end up watching it and giving myself an ulcer once again. |

Anyway, Broccoli, don't be an Otomate and at least give us a heroine like Haruka, not the heroine from Amnesia. Broccoli heroines tend to be better than Otomate's anyways. I've always wondered why Quin Rose games never get anime adaptations, besides that Alice in the Country of Hearts movie. They always have strong heroines. I'm constantly keeping my fingers crossed for an adaptation of Dot Kareshi... or BWS because wow that's more story driven than it is an otome game but it's still amazing. |

| Good seiyuu cast and designs, I will definitely check it out. =) TBH in anime for otoge I prefer if they don't do a specific romance/route because I prefer to leave it open for my imagination to choose. I am a picky shipper when it comes to het and almost always go for unconventional ships. |
