| yeahh.. I see the RAW has out :3 got the wrong idea of course :p gonna wait the sub of course :3 and.. yeah.. I see it is gonna be an awesome episode.. those stories.. I'm sure gonna love it! XD After so much hard moment pass.~~ finally I can watch this episode just now :3 well.. that was quite the story.. not really different with the LN :3 but if I'm not wrong that samurai guy was smiling when on fire :3 anyway.. :3 I wonder what will happen with hachikuji next! XD |

| This episode was okay I guess. Nice learning about Shinobu's past, but I kinda wish they did it in a different way. I honestly might of liked it more if they at least had some type of flashback scenes instead of the stills. The storytelling was alright but got somewhat boring at times. Regardless, the stories were still interesting. |

| Pretty cool ep, I liked the story told using japanese art, and Shinobu looks great in them. For some reason when the ep started I wanted a Shinobu sung OP. XD |

| So we finally got to find out about Shinobu's first visit to Japan and her first minion. Her first minion was a lot more tragic than it sounded when she first mentioned it back in Kizu. Pretty good nonetheless, even though it felt like it dragged on from time to time. And I'm surprised people here, and the previous episode's discussion are complaining about this arc and wants to find out what happened w/ Nadeko. Even though that most of these same people complained months ago on wondering what happened w/ Koyomi during Neko Shiro. |

| That was so incredibly interesting. I really liked the storybook artwork for Shinobu's backstory. And of course, a whole episode of Shinobu talking is always a good thing. |

| That was a fantastic episode...boy did this series need a shot in the arm. The last few episodes have been meh. Great art, great music, and a very interesting story. Loved it. |

| OMG this episode was awesome! I think it's mostly because my favorite character in the monogatari series is actually Kiss-shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, and not Shinobu herself. Her overwhelming presence just radiates power, and I'm likening her back story to folk legends. The only shame is hearing about her first subordinate. In Kizumonogatari, it was heavily hinted that her relationship with him was romantic, and while her feelings towards him might be considered romantic in a beautifully tragic way, I'm sad that it was replicated, and that it also wasn't very long. His death seemed almost immediate as well. |

| So... is Onimonogatari finished already? I thought it was supposed to explain what Koyomi was doing during Neko White. Anyway, fine episode, though Shinobu wasn't as funny as usual. I mean, she talked for the whole ep and there wasn't a single "Ka ka" laugh :( Well, I guess backstories are serious business. |

| While just focusing exclusively on her narration felt a little heavy for an entire episode, I absolutely loved the art and the way the animation flowed sideways. I also got more of a sense of the deep loneliness and isolation that the vampire/deity lifestyle has had for Shinobu, and how in turn this means that the relationship she has with Araragi is something she'll prioritize a lot in her life. |

| I was hoping for more from the start of this arc. The back-story was awesome but having the whole episode being narrated directly from Shonobu felt like it killed a lot of the impact and made it drag, there was hardly any animation between the slow panning stills either. The art was amazing but I feel like they relied way too much on their "style" this episode and the content suffered. |

| Yes finally some insight into Shinobu's past! One of the most interesting episodes ever aired imo. I'm going to be so emotionally lost after this series is finished. Nothing will fill it's void |

| Shinobu's story about her first time to Japan was pretty interesting, and a bad ending something we definitely need more in anime. Araragi's reactions towards to story was somewhat surprising but will he understand the meaning of the darkness that was following them or will he still need someone to explain it to him. From what i could tell it was mostly Shinobu's story and when she encountered it but there wasn't much talk about what the darkness does. |

And I believe the case with Kiss shot is that it is like calling a japanese with their first name.Being too familiar with them. |
