| 大阪ルール 36 : 間違った大阪弁は絶対許されない Osaka Rule #36: Don't mangle our Osaka dialect! The last "Osaka rule" was ironic in that the voice actress for Namika is not actually from Osaka. Kana Asumi (阿澄 佳奈 ) is from Fukuoka which is in a very different part of Japan. Somebody else already commented that Asumi showed a mastery of "Osaka-ben" in order to be able to win the part. It was definitely taking a risk to cast a non-Osakan in the role, but I can't see indication that it has not been carried off successfully. Others please correct me if I am wrong, but after a quick glance I believe that this is her first role as the main character. I would really enjoy seeing a follow-up season where they both go to Osaka for a while and then see how her older brother reacts. One more thing: What is with the constant "brocon" comments at the start of every episode? I hope that is not one of the "Osaka Rules". That's just the way it is! でんがなまんがな! |
| I wonder why they chose to call the title of this episode "Namika-san@Ganbaranai" which is a clear reference to another anime this season - Sasami-san@Ganbaranai. I tried to find any overlap in terms of anime production and original source material but I cannot find any: the source material are published by different publishers, the anime are made by different studio, the production companies are different, even the TV channels are different. A real mystery. EDIT - OK I find one overlap, Namika-san is also voiced by Asumin, who voiced Sasami-san in Sasami-san@Ganbarnai. So that's why !!! |

| Adding -san to food is like giving pet names to food isn't it? Kind of strange giving things you eat pet names pretty funny tho. Imitating a accent is often seen as annoying by the original speakers no matter what language it is Irish people also tend to dislike the imitations of the accents. |

This little mini-series was enjoyable and it is funny to see how different cultures clash even though they are from the same country. Much like how people are different throughout the States. I was rather shocked that it was going to Bluray since it was so short. Wouldn't mind owning this if the price was right. For what it is, I'll give it a 7/10. |

| Haha Namika got lazy on that last song. Quite sad to see this anime end... it provided me with quite a good laugh and I at least learnt some stuff about Osaka. The animation wasn't what I had expected but it was still ok. Could've shown more romantic developments though. |

| Pretty funny last episode, and in general it was quite nice however the animation still bothered me till the end and made it for me a bit of a bad series but in general I liked the characters and concept! |

| Enjoyable anime. Short, but good. The main character is so cute it should be illegal. Also, could've used some ecchi, but I'm still satisfied with the final product. |
