| Isn't this is what you call as stereotyping? I don't know how Osaka people are, but somehow I remember a kind of people in a region of my country. They're nice, funny, friendly with a funny dialect using harsh (considered by general) words. We could laugh only by hearing how they talk even if we don't understand their language |

This time around it’s more educational on the food and TV grounds or should I say media in general most likely. About lesson 1, going in lesson orders the first one teaching of Osaka people are very enthusiastic towards the media, often interacting with it like a person. Seems to me like something for me. I actually like people that spurt out stuff when it’s airing on TV. I wonder how they go about romance and sex scenes in TV? They must shut up about it? Who knows. I know for sure in animes they must go OVER 9000 when x characters die or get raped or shit like that. Must be the big ass YELL OUT there. I would not be surprised but quite fascinating how Osaka responds to the media. I assume this is why they have stricter rules on what is allowed to be broadcast there. About lesson 2, I was quite surprised of the following: No matter they say they all like in Osaka Numakami Mieko. I know it’s a functional name or I could not find anything of her. I do know however that it’s interesting to know that people are as crazy some of them towns in USA were of Oprah of Maury show. So wow really surprised of this outtake with Osaka people. I did not expect them. However with the spoiler About lesson 3, quite the interest to know of the following: In Osaka all household her their own okonomiyaki style and are very picky on food procedures. I myself did not know this but worse of all is that Okinawa people are picky of the way you make the food. Namika was all over Kyousuke cause he was not putting the right amounts of the ingredients? RIDICULOUS! That’s amazing. I should not argue too much with a Japanese from Okinawa when it comes to find preparations cause it’s going to be all over this is how we do it and if not you got shit ass conversation troubles brewing aka verbal fights. Rest of thoughts in the club |

| After watching the first two episodes this show is cute and funny and interesting but I have to wonder how "educational", like some of the reviews claim, it is. Like I'm not sure if I'm actually being educated on osakan culture or just being fed a laundry list of stereotypes. I think being from New England and seeing things made by people outside of New England that purport to teach people things about New England but mess up what certain vernacular means or throw in words that no one actually uses anymore and rely heavily on slightly offensive stereotype makes me naturally untrusting of shows like this. |
