| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, this episode was intense! Loved it. The karuta matches were intense for the team. Wow, just wow. I'm glad Chihaya's team made it through even with the intensity. Anyways, I am hoping that Arata will make his official return soon to the new team. Hell, I want to see him play Karuta like a pro that he is. Chihaya's joyful tears ;o  |

| That beginning was epic, How Chihaya was totally dominating, Master style XD It was nice seeing the match from the readers point of view Loved the fact that they lost. Now I can be relieved and not fear them losing in the finals :) Was truly the most intense and fun game til now, like Chihaya said :D |

| Misuzawa lost but not in a frustrating way so I can accept it Oh c'mon Chihaya when will you realize you realize that while your feelings aren't quite love for Arata he is definitely more than a friend. Taichi being subjugated to that scene at the end... poor guy, would be the wrong time to make a move anytime soon even in this season in my opinion. She's too focused on karuta at the moment; until she examines her friends around her, Taicihi is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Chihaya's happy/eureka moments crack me up X D The train and after the match Can't wait till we get back to a focus on the freshman of the team, I want to see Tsukuba and Hanano grow as karuta players and how their bonds develop with everyone. |

I couldn't see that at all I hope Amakasu will be a better ace Good for you Harada-sensei you just got five new members at the same time (must be a miracle for him) Chihaya said the match was the most difficult she ever had but it didn't feel like it was more difficult than her match with Shinobu Why Arata!! now Chihaya just cried because of you in front of Taichi I feel so bad for him T.T |

| ACK! The ending came too soon. The episode was over before I even realized I was watching it. Great, great, match! It was super intense but you could feel how much they've improved mentally. I also love the comparisons between Chihaya and the Master. Go, go, Chihaya! |

| Aside from my happy buzz from Taichi winning one of my happiest moments was from Tsutomu. Being so confident about his greater enjoyment in kurata over the year compared to his opponent. These kids are great. x3 |
