Fact:

There's no exception in FACTS
You can't change the boiling degrees of pure water,
The boiling point of water is 100 °C (212 °F) at standard pressure.

The way you use the word "fact" so carelessly make me laugh so hard. Okay then I guess you can't prove my statements wrong with your obvious "fact" anyway. Cause I just pointed out one exception from the "fact" which you used to prove my opinion wrong. Get it?

It's not the only exception by the way.

You're famous for being a troll, so I kinda wasted my time here. Disliking a show gave me so much hatred eh? Dw I'm not staying in this thread anyway. Last post.

lol there's no exceptions to facts but you want to use water(a substance that has several exceptions) as an example.

Look, I know you are trying hard but you should stop trying to turn everything into extremes just to try and "win" here. Facts have exceptions, it's not that every fact has an exception but it is still a true statement.

My careless use of the word fact was to point out some of the factual comparisons that get made with something gets adapted into anime. If those factual comparisons are wrong then please try and point out where they are incorrect. The one throwing around the word fact without really knowing what the hell they are talking about is you.

Sorry to barge in the off-topic but if a fact has an exception its definiton is automatically nullified and it ceases to be a fact, it's a mere triviality or point. Fact is something regarded as absolute truth. If the fact isn't that (has exceptions) then it's not a fact and it's something else. You have to find another therm to define your "fact"

this said i think you should take this discussion somewhere else...

Fact: All materials contract when they cool down. Except water.
Fact: The solid form of a material will sink in the liquid from of the same material. Except water.

If a fact has an exception but it remains to be true in most cases then the definition and fact stands while the exceptions become important nuances that separate the Doctorates from the GEDs.

Not sure what did they teach you at school, but if it's a fact, it will always be true. Oh well that's what they taught me anyway. It looks like only you understand the meaning of fact in a wrong way.

There are such things as absolute facts that are always true but there are also facts that are only try most of the time barring exceptions or variables.

You know believe? Open a science book and be prepared to see absolute facts about some things and facts with exceptions for others.

tldr; read a book.

In the middle of all these arguments i'm just going to say this. I wasn't so sure about the first episode; I liked it but I wasn't sure where it was going. But now that I've seen the second episode, I like where its going. I feel this is going to get really good/awesome/amazing/excellent/etc.

My only question is how far is the anime going to go? I've only remember parts 1 & 2 fairly well. I might have to re-read part 3 or more if it's going further.

Also, does anyone else find that "Roundabout" is surprising freaking perfect!!

If you read so many books you should know that a scientific fact has a different meaning than a hystorical fact or etymological definition of fact, since what were talking about here doesn't have anything to do with science why would you justify yourself with that different nature? Stick to the facts that care i stop acting like you're smarter than everyone else.

It seems like a very good mystery/horror show to me. Nonetheless, a great episode.

It's not that Part 1 sucked, it's just that it's the weakest/least awesome part of JoJo.

I haven't read the manga, but I'm also really enjoying the first part. But if what you said is true then things only get better from here on out.

If you want stick to the facts that I said on this subject then why not deal with them directly instead if trying to deal with the off-topic parts? You're just as much to blame because you tried to remark on the off-topic comments and was promptly shutdown.

Fact:When an anime is produced the source material issue used for comparisons when doing the script, character designs, and key frames. Some exceptions would be when there is no source, when the anime is planned to be a loose or alternative telling of the source.

I am not acting but is very clear that you are DYING to make a point but keep failing because the truth and reality of the matter is against you.

More of the same, Jojo has already lost most of its appeal for me. If all it's going to be is *manly yellings* "GASP" *manly glare*, then I'll probably last a few more episodes at most. It's funny for a few episodes, but twenty six? Not so sure.

In the first part(about 10-12 episodes) there will mostly be simple combat.
But in the second part

I also recommend reading this post for more details(spoiler free).

It's only the second episode, and I can safely say I look forward to watching it every week(damn you gg, you were late!), along with Hunter x Hunter, Space Bros, and the new Magi anime. I love JoJo's campy, over-the-top style.

It's an "old-school" shounen, watch Hokuto no Ken for reference.

They're manly men, doing manly things because they're manly.

Jojo's style is unique and is a perfect adaption of the manga style - which was published in 1987. While it may seem a bit generic from a modern perspective, it is the semi-ironical approach that David Production uses on this old, inspiring classic (series like HxH, OP, etc. wouldn't be the same without Jojo) that makes the adaption outstanding. Not for everyone, but an essential title nontheless if you are truly interested in WSJ's history.

Yeah.. I can see all of that. Over the top manly men type stuff is usually my thing. But for this anime it's kind of hard to get into. Maybe the older version might work better for me, but I'll try seeing how this one goes.

Another good episode. The appearance of Speedwagon was nice - that guy is a bro, even if he's really not that helpful of a companion.

This adaptation has impressed me so far - I thought the manga was decent; however I am definitely having more fun going through the anime. Though I guess it should have been obvious that they would end up censoring/cutting back on some of the more graphic displays of violence from the manga.

Also, the OP is good stuff. I applaud whoever is responsible for the music for this series.

So this show will be about vampire? Didn't saw that coming.

Jojo saved the day! But it look like the mansion will burn next episode so it was pretty useless I guess.

I like how some killing seem just so natural, like when Jack the Ripper sliced that throat, it seemed so normal. And man, Jojo, grabbing a knife like if he was grabbing a fork and taking those blade in the arm, that guy isn't human xD

I didn't expected him to become friends in the beginning of the episode.

And to finish a Jojo episode... DIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
