This was a great episode, along with the last two before this one. Plenty of suspense and action.

That was one of the most thrilling single episodes I've ever seen. I love the way every member of Section 9 has its own unique trait in the field that distinguishes them from the others:
-Motoko: Dexterity/Agility
-Batou: Strength/Close Combat
-Saito: Accuracy/Sniping
-Ishikawa: Hacking/Heavy Weaponry
-Aramaki: Intelligence/Wit
-Togusa: Humanity/Bad Luck LOL

damn Batou vs Kuze and Kuze manage to win out by a slim margin.

he even jammed a pole on his shoulders and dis located his leg.

damn Kuze is good :P

and wow Kuze being tricked about the plutonium deal, damn you gouda.

never seen Section 9 beat up badly.

if only Aoi was here to save them for intel :P

all in all amazing episode, the stage is open for the main finale.

i hope Motoko and Section 9 arrest Gouda once and for all!!!!!

and Kuze would probably be that boy back then!!!!

soo many origami's and motoko's memories of him is getting clearer every episode :)

Oh god this ep. And Batou getting his ass-kicked. Who can stop the Kuze machine? I'm starting to think he's the one who's gonna take out Gouda.

That fight between Batou and Kuze was amazing. Ishikawa is injured and S9 lost a tilt-rotor. Haven't seen them this beat up but they'll prevail!

Goda is such an asshole. He's doing everything to reduce the refugees power and at the same time, do everything to make them look scarier in the media. He's really leading them to extinction.

Now with that blackout, I guess they'll put the blame on Kuze and start the militarization.

Batou got owned like a rookie by Kuze. He really his strong.

All that deal was a set up, probably made by Goda. That guy have so much power and influence, it's scary.

5/5

Exciting episode in the first part, the second one a little less, I did not like the story because after the flight of the Kuze S9 suffered a hoax intended against him, had better explain the steps that had led to understand cheating on plutonium, the rest was consequential.
Plot full of twists yet to reveal all, I am so happy with what's going on.
The part about the fighting, was excellent.
Drawings and animations good.
I'm curious to see if Kuze is smart enough to have developed a similar thought to Major.

These stakes are arguably way better than what I got from the first season. Utterly stunned when that suicide bomber took out their transport.

The three-way psychological war between Gouda, Kuze, and Section 9 is proving to be intense!

Just this once, I'll fulfill whatever your wish is.

5/5 Batou, you did good.

Damn what an episode, Batou and Ishikawa injured, mission failed for the second time, and a whole lot of killing.

i have to say Gouda is one incredible antagonist he has Section 9 and Kuze dancing in his little play.

I really like kuze, i would like him to join Section 9 when all of this is over.....but thats probably not going to happen T.T

I loved that Kuze won, anyway I feel so bad for Kuze that he was tricked it was almost visible that was tricked considering how they zoomed it for sevral times ugh it's so frustrating I love Kuze so much.

Dat manly fights reminds me one of (Batou's) standalone episode in the first season :o not cool to see Batou losing! Btw I can't help but don't feel Kuze as much as evil than Godoh tbh.

Anyway lot of build up in this episode and the last new mystery was another interesting turn to this arc. The upgraded animation (compare to S1) really make more breathtaking to watch. Nice.

That "kid" went from a skeptic to a true believer and then went on to become a SUPER EFFECTIVE Suicide Bomber. Between that and the fight with Batou, wow, what an episode.

Very police heavy episode, but it kept me engaged, I saw the paper cranes so it is pretty sure Kuze is the boy the Major met as a kid, I still wonder if they will actually do anything with that or add up to his character, though.

So Kuze is a mary sue? Not surprised. Batou has demonstrated to be able to decapitate a giant android before with little effort, yet his punches seemingly don't even scratch Kuze for no apparent reason. Then we're told that he has some godly charisma that turns him into a golden calf that everyone idolises and follows. The narrative spares no expense when it comes to fellating him any time he appears. It's like they took Aoi from the first season, removed any subtlety or nuance to his writing, then produced this budget knockoff in his place.
