| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- OP and Ed are well-produced but rather uninspired and generic. I found the pacing rather bothersome as it felt like the the episode went from one scenario to another without much motivation behind the direction. The casual bantering between the characters was dull and sometimes even annoying to follow. It can probably assumed that this is the show DEEN is putting the least effort in out of the three they are releasing this season. The action scene truly looked horrible despite its short length. |

| OP is like the previous ep. (when aired as ED during the official airing) except the screen is wider. I like the ED!! English teacher attracting guys. lol~ lol @ naming the fox. Especially about the name being gag. Explanation of the seal. It's nice that they are supporting Tamaki for wanting to know about the story of her duty. It's nice to see them fight. So the grandmother is testing Tamaki to do something by herself and revive her power. Showing a bit of kouhai guardian, then preview by chibi sempai. Since it's planned for 26 eps., so I think they are taking the time. I think the pacing is fine for me. |

| I really liked it. Tamaki is quite the tsundere and had a few good moments. The drawings seemed way better than in episode one, but the animation is still pretty bad. The ED isn't quite to my liking, but I'm in love with the OP. |
| Glorious battle visuals and attacks from all. Mahiro and Takuma's looked the best. I hope Tamaki is able to use attacks to and doesnt always need protection, though if it allows the others to shine more then I wouldnt mind. OP and ED are mellow but nice and overall atmosphere in the anime is nice. I pray it does see domestic home video release. |

| I still hate the new character design, the old one looked much better. Episode 2 was much better than the first one but still feels not right. Since this is a longer anime I will give it more time. |

I though it was Okay. Tamaki does need to get her act together soon, however. I understand she's been thrown in the water and expected to swim, but watching her get repeatedly rescued won't be much fun. |

| Thus far it looks like it will be worth following but it won't be my top priority as a series this season. At this point I don't expect the design of the malevolent gods to improve, but I hope that the male characters develop a little more personality (and the main female character could use a little help in that respect as well). |

| Meh i am always interested in these reverse harems though i do not have the motivation to watch them , when i do watch them they always seem to be interesting. This episode is not bad but it hasnt fully gained my attention yet . And yay for the introduction of the new character ;D |

| I loved that fight. Interesting powers the men have. After the fight, Im starting to believe Tamaki's family/Shugogo house is trying to get Tamaki to use her powers by putting her in danger. Nice OP and ED song. |

| bleh the pace and transition between scenes is REALLY bad. Plus the story is very uninteresting so far. If none of that improves soon then not even Sugita will be able to keep me watching :< |

| Hiiro no Kakera is indeed popular - This one has a direct sequel too and the others are like spin-off or something. I wouldn't be surprised if the anime managed to have another season too. After watching the second episode, I felt so bored. None of the characters caught my eye, all of them are just generic. (Check Hakuouki; The creators used the same style characters. Will O' Wisp; The same. And all of their other works.) We are still on the second episode but I hope it will become good. |

| everyone keeps complaining about the bad transitions, but it honestly doesnt bother me much, so long as i ignore it .-. the series definitely picked up, considering the first episode, and with 24 more episodes to go, there's still plenty of time for the story to develop (although it's already pretty decent to me so far) x] the action scene was ok, could've been more epic also cant wait to see tamaki's powers, and the new guardian :o |

| OP's beautiful, ED's pretty nice too. I liked the pacing much better in this episode. It was engaging and I enjoyed it. And reverse harems always make me feel all fuzzy inside lol XD |

| Just by the OP it is clear who she is going to end up with, which sorta takes some of the fun out of the show. Also, a child antagonist, haven't there been enough of those?? I wonder if Mitsuru will get any action? Why were the actions in the fighting scene so awkward? It almost hurt to watch. It is to be expected with this type of anime but why does Tamaki have to be so helpless? I can't remember the last time I watched an anime with a strong female protagonist. Hopefully once Tamaki discovers her powers she won't have to be saved so many times. |
| Still okay but nothing great I do hope it gets better seriously bc this has so much potential but of course so many do but many are never as high as they should be but I will continue watching regardless though mainly bc I dont drop it just might take me years to finish it though |
