| Ridiculously predictable, but the directing in this episode was good. Natsume's better without the action stuff that was in the first few episodes of this season. |
| Very sweet episode. Too bad that the youkai couldn't get closer to the girl |: either way, very nice ending to the episode. |
| Finally an episode with decent animation~ (+ thank god Natsume isn't looking like a 10 year old like in season 3) This must be the first episode since the end of season 2 that I really enjoyed watching- I hope they put some effort in the next episode as well, since I really liked that chapter... =u=/ edit: still a little sad that they 'generalized' the scenes in which he returns a name... |

| I can't believe I almost cried at the end of this episode, but at least I know I'm not the only one. Finally got to see Reiko again, and it's about time. Is it just me or are the youkai becoming more reasonable and human-like? |

| Oh man ;__; that ending was so touching...Yobiko is such a silly and good-natured youkai...I really like Karikami too, he's seems very nice as well, even telling Reiko (it was nice to see her again ^^) that he could restore the paper with his name on it if the paper got old. NateXsama said: Sensei's so cute Haha I love that part! It's funny how Natsume scolds Nyanko-sensei like that. |

| For me, this was a special episode cuz bearded-youkai Yobiko's seiyuu was the seiyuu of Mushishi's Ginko-san. For a brief moment, I dreamed of Ginko and Natsume talking to each other which made me a happier fan. I love both shows. I miss them both |
| I just realized that this was the first episode in a about a full season that we've actually seen a flashback about Reiko. It's nice that we got to see her again after leaving the repetitive formula of the first 2 seasons where every youkai had a direct flashback with Reiko and started focusing a lot more on the present time with Natsume. |
| And this show works its charm once again. These are my favorite kinds of Natsume episodes, the ones that are so simple and yet so profoundly beautiful. "Thank you for telling me the truth", that was just so perfect and said so much more about how Youko felt about it all. |

| Great nice episode! Return atmosphere so melancholy and a little sad that makes the series so fascinating and enjoyable, too. The story is one that you enter the heart and even if it is self-contained, it's nice to follow. Great views comedy during the narration. |

| Once again, I loved this episode. It made me cry. The level of story telling in this show is just unparalleled. It's so beautifully told. I like that there wasn't some big love confession, it was just a simple "Thank you for telling me truth", which is so touching when you think about the fact that the other guy just abandoned her. Probably in my top five Natsume episodes. 5/5 |

| I'm not a big fan of these romance episodes, but this one had a pretty good story. Nyanko-sensei was so hilarious. The first half of the episode was pure gold because of him, lol. |
