| I didn't really like the drama aspect of this last episode, but I loved seeing Tako Musume again... 4/5. I give this season an 8/10 too. The middle wasn't as entertaining as the first season, but it picked up during the end. I would not mind a new season. |

| Wanted to keep my score at 8 but had to drop it down to 7. The first season did wonders in the comedy but the second season seems to be lacking in it. It was still fun, overall. Now that I've finished this, I can watch the OVAs next, de-geso! |

| Painfully cringy, the episode was. This is a step-down from the first season, it felt stagnant, very stagnant, and overusing the same joke. Sanae's purpose was just there to idolize Ika Musume to a rather creepy level of obsession, literally the same type of joke every time we see her. The cute shy blonde's character was reversed in order to give her yet another fake "development" which will go nowhere, because the author knows that her character will become dull once she's got her development. There were a few rather fun segments but far few in between. I am rather disappointed. On the other hand, Ika Musume is still cute as always, though sometimes can be rather forcefully ignorant. I also forgot to mention this but this series had potential for horror, based on the first season. |

The perfect crossover. This is probably the worst Eiko has ever been. It was clearly an accident and she's gotten a little TOO stubborn to apologize. I don't recall a single time when Squid Girl was in the wrong and not apologize. That's sad Eiko. Really sad. It takes a lot more effort to mend a relationship than to recover a lost game data. She needs to grow up. And seriously, who the hell is this girl?  In the end, Eiko didn't apologize for saying all the mean things she said to Squid Girl. This is probably the least satisfying episode. :/ |

| Seasons 1 and 2 were similarly...ok. Was expecting more, the episode structure doesn't lend itself for slice of life and it wasn't funny enough to be a pure comedy, it was this in-between that doesn't fully explore either the characters or the setting. Would have liked to see more segments similar to the one where Ika Musume followed ants around to find their secret base. S2 could have, having established the characters, been more comfy and laid-back but they chose to reuse the same jokes over and over again. Sanae was only a character five minutes before she notices Ika Musume, for the rest of the series she is just one long joke. Ika Musume is cute though, so is her voice, and her speech pattern. |

| The whole episode was about an argument between Eiko and Ika Musume, a bit weird way to finish the series but it was good. Also the end was heartwarming, but i'm not gonna lie I was still sad because it is finished :( Overall great season again, same as the first one, I will miss this series so much... |

| Nice finale. Ika will always be a failure as an invader. I liked the festival part. Everyone looked good in their yukatas. It was nice to see Kozue again. Yep, she's an octopus, like Ika. I'm glad Ika and Eiko made up. <3 Everyone together. :) And now they are arguing again, lol. Overall, a great season, but not a masterpiece like the first one. |

| ikas and eikos fight was quite dumb. eiko multiple times says something along the lines of "fighting like kids" through the show then proceeds to turn into a stubborn kid here. but overall i really liked this series. i might prefer season 1 over this a bit more but they are very close. strong 8 for both seasons. would gladly watch a season 3 if that somehow became a thing. Sanae is definetly my favorite character aside from ikachan (and mini ika) herself.  |
