This isn't really Jung; it's Myers-Briggs, though. The difference isn't really big.
I am, and have always scored as, an INTP. Interesting trivia, those scores, but shouldn't be read too deeply into. They aren't exactly underpinned by a vast swathe of empirical evidence.
ESTP - "Promotor". Action! When present, things begin to happen. Fiercely competitive. Entrepreneur. Often uses shock effect to get attention. Negotiator par excellence. 4.3% of total population.
OR, more accurately:
ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.
Ahh, ye olde Meyers-Briggs type indicator. One of the best known and most used personality tests out there. I've taken variants of this several times (point: I'm in a business program), and should note it's not the full test, which means there's greater variation in the results. But yeah, I'm definately on the border in a few areas.
Your type is: INFP
INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population.

As always.

INTJ - "Mastermind". Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.
ENTP - "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.
Got an ESTP. I somewhat disagree that my Perceiving is only 44.44% and holy hell "Uses shock effect to get attention" I think I don't do that, if I remember it clearly.
I take that back
content, emotionally stable, outgoing, social, group oriented, finisher, does not like to be alone, open, decisive, likes external praise, likes to be center of attention, frequently joking, adjusts easily, likes crowds, self confident, neutral moods, good at getting people to have fun, disorganized, messy, talented at presentation, not easily annoyed, does not like to be alone, enjoys crude jokes, likes to lead, likes sports, more likely to come off as masculine, risk taker, tends to dominate conversations, fearless, can handle criticism, hard to discourage
Most of the scores are only separated by 10pts, but it's no question I am a more introverted indiviudal. I always sway more towards INTP in the end. I took the myers-briggs test in school and always got INTP. I was sceptical until gave us p the descriptions packet; I kept it since I thought it sounded interesting. Most of it applies to what teaching style you probably prefer/got good grades from and 'in depth characteristics'/what jobs you would do well in or enjoy...
I think that there will be a lot of introverted people on MAL, but people can still be relatively outgoing yet be classified as introverted on this test.
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood
really kinda accurate, maybe otaku tend to be introverted?^^
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.
I'm a bit too indefinite for this test to work correctly.
I'm an ISTJ... with a 52% S and only a 50% P, which really means I am neither. I have gotten INTP before, too, and by the descriptions it fits me better (though certainly not perfectly).
ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools. 5.4% of total population
hmm i don't really think that or the descriptions fit me though, apart from the Feeling is bigger than Thinking thats totally right i never think properly hehe. Its only 1.5% of the population, thats pretty small i guess.
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.

The next info for INTP really fits my personality:
I want to know the truth and get down to the bottom of things. It’s an internal life, living in the head, theorizing constantly about how things work.
I can link many thoughts and shoot off in multiple directions at once in an attempt to clarify and explain things really well or to try to represent the fullness of who I am and all the different things I can do and can’t do. I like to design—not just implementation but the stuff before that. There is a goal, a theme, and I start from that and work through the specifics one by one, keeping the whole thing integrated as I go, until I come up with “the elegant solution.” Often when I talk to people they only get from me a few steps—one, thirteen, a hundred. That’s all that gets verbalized, and what’s very clear to me either I’ve forgotten or find unnecessary to say out loud, which can come across as confusing at times.
I am very knowledge and big picture oriented. I want to bring everything that can be known into understanding a problem or situation. I enjoy working with those who think like I do but verbalize better. We can end up leaping forward rapidly and building off of ideas, asking questions with an answer in mind but wanting to verify things and learn more. If I am knowledgeable in that area, I always have something to add, to help better understand the idea and add something new. Although sometimes, even when I know we agree, people feel like I am trying to challenge them, which is frustrating because I am just doing it out of excitement. I try to understand all the variables and possible influences and then apply as broad a range of information as I can bring to the problem, to impact why the problem exists. I am interested in developing new skills and trying new ideas with those skills, and I am a good team member, and yet sometimes a little group work can go a long way. Most of all, I love to learn.
Central for me is honesty and integrity, especially intellectual integrity. If it’s not an honest approach to the issue at hand or to the relationship or organization, then it becomes an illusion—it only appears to have substance. I respect people who are genuine, honest, and open and doing what they are good at and what they enjoy and are up front about what is important to them.
I have a penchant for clarity. Some people say I’m hairsplitting, but there is value in precision.
I don’t like sloppy thinking, waste, and redundancy, and I am uncomfortable with sending out something that isn’t as good as it can be, but it has to go out anyway. I like things thought through. Incompetence just sets me right off. I have very little tolerance or patience, especially if the person is above me or isn’t really trying. I don’t think I push people any harder than I push myself and most people probably push less, which is where conflict comes in. Some people say my standard may be way out of whack and I assume the other person is competent. I like to avoid conflict at all possible costs, but if it reaches a point where I can’t go anywhere unless this gets resolved, then I will jump in and take care of it. That takes me a long time and I will go miles out my way to avoid that. It’s an ongoing decision between fairness and not letting people walk all over me.
There is this constant balancing act between self-confidence and questioning myself. Sometimes I feel secure and comfortable about knowing and thinking about and recognizing a lot and knowing how to learn new skills and ideas and concepts. But I have an almost instant ability to detect limitations—not knowing enough, picking out what’s missing, adding in an always-present feeling that it’s not quite right, and not knowing everything there is to know with insufficient time to learn everything that is important.
I can be seen as too unfeeling, too quick to start into work with not enough basis laid out for the day, and I’m not much for the personal amenities or socializing. Yet it is important that others are aware they are important to me. It’s not the first thing, but it’s in my awareness. I tend to try solving personal problems all by myself. Then sometimes I wind up without accurate information from others or about how it will affect others. I believe there must be an answer or a solution if I can just figure it out.
ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools. 5.4% of total population.
I wasn't too sure until I read the description. Most of it sounds like me.

its interesting cause i'm ISTP "engineer", and second closest INTP "architect"
and i have studied engineer/architect at university, always trying to figure out which part fitted me better.
so now its official!
wizwinkleman said: I'm a little surprised there are so many of us INFPs on here. It's one of the least common types, from what I understand.
Introverts of all types, but particularly introverted percievers, are said to be avid users of forums, blogs, and other internet related forms of communication. For one, it's a low stress social situation. It doesn't require proper etiquette and sometimes not even proper spelling or grammar. For introverts, of course, this distanced and paced way to express themselves and interact with others feels a lot more comfortable than the usual every day in your face way.
As to Percievers... well Ps tend to have more time on their hands, because they tend to procrastinate even when they have important real life things to take care of. Also, Ps tend to be big picture people, global thinkers, so they don't mind spending as much time dabbling in their varied interests and indulging in pleasure time, thinking and experiencing random things. Where-as, unless a J has a specific interest in something, they rarely devote themselves to anything, or let themselves be "lazy."
Extroverts and Judging types (even sometimes if the J is an Introvert), often find they have too many things to take care of first, that they can't attend as often to a blog or a forum. So you don't find quite as many of them in a setting like this.
I'm just lucky and my INTP fiancè is the one brings home the bacon right now, and only has to do so once in a while when a gig comes around. So I have more free time than most Js. xD
INTP, i remember the first time i took one of these like 4-5 years ago i was ESTP than i took one like 2 years ago and was INTP and again i'm INTP but less in the percentages, but yeah, i found it funny that more people are Introverts here even though i did expect that to be the case
ENTP - "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.
No surprise there, same as always.
