| HAAHA... They 'tarantinoed' the first episode! I love it! The monster was kind of rediculous, and the voice i wasnt too fond of but i like the concept so far. oh and leave it for the faggot guy to try to "STOP THE VIOLENCE!!" good god i really wish they could put a plug to these worthless character types. In the end they always end up fighting anyway. |

| Amazing OP & ED, some good action and looks like a promising story. I'm loving this already. Reminds me of Pandora Hearts, with all the evil dolls and alternate worlds and stuff. |

| It was average. The character designs are kinda childish. That guy certainly didn't look like a high school student. Maybe because he just enrolled. Anyway, nothing here that said, "You gotta watch the next episode". For some reason, the XviD quality of [Eclipse] release also was mediocre at best. Although I don't really care about this aspect as much but I guess I noticed it too much because everything else was average. The animation too was normal. Still I'll give it a couple of episodes to pick up and sink in because I liked the concept of replacements. |

| Okay, so I purchased all 4 DVDs today and watched the first episode. For an anime rookie as myself, "experienced" with lightweight anime about nothing, this one was like a... Don't know, electric shock, or something like that. Main character turns out to be dead, the whole world is in danger because some spirit-eating monsters are on the loose, and they're being beaten by an unnamed girl, slashing them with a sword. Later, that girl, Hirai, who in my early opinion was going to be one of the main characters, gets her spirit damaged and becomes a Torch, only to completely disappear later on. Seeing Yuuji's efforts to prevent her from "dying out" made me think that it may turn out that he possesses powers that give him ability to "re-lit" any Torch. Sadly, I was mistaken. Will continue watching - I'm really curious how it all is going to end. |

| Interesting... Seems like a very different concept, somehow, even though I've seen other anime with "living dead" people. Wonder when Yuuji actually died then? I also liked the OP and ED... :> The OP more than the ED, but they're both good either way! |
| Woah. that baby doll thing was pretty ugly. Looked like a baby form of the joker without the make up. I swear I thought they were gonna pull my leg and say that Hirai was actually Shana but it seems they are two different people. decent opening for an anime rated fairly high. Looking forward for next. |

| Hmmm... I'm rewatching this show and realize that the first episode is really stupid. They leave the impression as if Hirai likes Yuuji, and Yuuji protecting that rinne made also no sense. But hey, they have to do something to make a story. It was funny though that Shana said her first "Urusai, urusai, urusai!" to Yuuji while he was cut in two. I really did forgot about everything. |

| People recommended this show because it has a small red haired tsun-tsun girl in it. Hopefully it's a good show and will it clear things up, because for now it's quite confusing. |
