| i was really excited about this show at first but this battle [the first real battle] was waaay under my expectation. maybe i don't go for blonde chicks that transform into blue fire-breathing bears [?????], or maybe i'm just really tired and will get the point and coolness of this battle in the morning ^^. either way, i just love it when shana says "uruse, uruse, uruse". she's kawaii in a but-kicking and 'always wanna be tough' way. |

| Quite good episode. Laughed at the moment when Yuuji tried to peek on Shana while she was in only in her underwar. Unconditioned reflex, I guess. Don't do that, kids, or the girl will throw an alarm clock at you. Also, watch where you stick your hands, otherwise you may shoot out of your peeping spot and see something like this... Ain't so bad at all... I guess it was worth it. A word of advice to all teachers: don't ever dare to step in Shana's way, or else you will receive a nasty FATALITY kick to your stomach. |

| Good episode... Shana certainly developed feelings for Yuuji quickly! Though she obviously doesn't realize it. XD I think Shana's in a funk since she's all confused about why Yuuji seems different than other Torches to her... thus she can't really think properly when fighting, which I'm sure she usually DOES even though she was saying that she doesn't need to when she fights... I mean, her reputation amongst other Flame Hazes can't just be overrated, can it? D:' Wonder why Yuuji didn't notice the thing about his inner flame thingy, even though it seemed as though he could see them? |

| This episode was good. It seem like there's a beginning of relationship. Also Shana lost. That lucky bastard, having her to sleep in the same bed :P That trap on the hentai sensei was clever. A punch would have got her a suspension. |

| -The scene in Yuuji's room reeked of setup for an overdone gag from the moment it started -Uh, I don't understand the point of the rogue Hazes meddling with the universes in the first place if it'll just destroy both of them -And of course the followup to that headscratcher is probably the single most overused gag in these types of anime -Blonde chick seems more up to my speed in terms of personality though -The blonde chick and her book is literally the best thing about this show so far -How does the Friagne dude have such a detailed map of the area -That's a steamy wakeup scene but Yuuji's the standard generic beta protag for no reason at all -At least Alastor's a bro -Are the phys ed teachers in Japan usually like this? Also his stated intent behind all the laps is like the exact opposite of what he was doing -Wait what, that went in an entirely different direction than I expected it to -Come to think of it, the whole gym scene was actually extremely pointless in the context of what has happened so far -I don't think I agree with Alastor's statement of Yuuji having good judgment since it basically accomplished the same thing as punching the guy -Well, Margery and Marco were pretty great until they starting spewing stuff about killing all Hazes without any particular reason -I dunno this Crimson World fight as well as the Friagne one was pretty visually underwhelming -That has got to be one of the stupidest reasons to let the protagonist go, ESPECIALLY after Margery and Marco made it clear they wanted to exterminate all Flame Hazes -It also looks like Shana has picked up Yuuji's habit of pointlessly pondering about things and not reaching a conclusion They introduced a bunch of background about the Crimson World but it was a bunch of illogical stuff, which made me less excited about the premise of the whole show. The new developments in this episode also caused me to dislike some characters I initially liked (Shana, Margery, Marco), which doesn't leave much else for me to like in the characters department. These two things combined with that really pointless gym class scene in the middle (which basically did the exact same thing as the scene at Yuuji's house in the beginning of the episode) made this episode absolutely awful for me. TL;DR This episode only made me enjoy the show less |
