| Ah yes, Uzaki and her memories with Sakurai. This was a wholesome episode and it seems the anime just want sto build more into their relationship. They are a compatible pair after all even this late into the second season. |

| Looks like things regarding any love confession where delayed ones again, Uzaki ruining a perfectly good moment herself. And Sakurai got a good trashing from his dad and afterwards they both got a good trashing from his mother his father did give him a good talk tho which hopefully will help him progress with Uzaki. |
| Lmao Sakurai dad is actually awesome. Gave him a much needed lesson about standing up for his woman and protecting her from unjust criticism. Good shit. His mom being able to body slam his dad like that is crazy tho. |

| Uzaki and Sakurai's time together in middle school certainly was the first foundations of love, though at the time they were just the typical kouhai-senpai in the same swimming club. Sakurai certainly wasn't the scary type even back then, it's just his facial expression. Sak and Ami are trying to keep this on a low ball, but knowing Ami, she sure wouldn't. Back in Sakurai's home, taking care of Nodoka is 2nd nature to him, and the sparring with his old pops in kendo shows his deteriorating skill in judo. Even his dad trashed him about doing things the right way, but none of them could stop their mom trashing them for family dinner. Back in the cafe, things are serious enough for Sakurai to be more diligent and "do things right", and it's not just him, but Fujio, Sakaki, Ami's dad and a fellow friend to talk about his issues. All Sakurai needs to do is to speak up, though Fuji's pitch as a merchant easily shows and kinda misinterprets the situation. It's Christmas, and Uzaki lashes her irritation at Sakurai, pressuring him to take her for the occasion. That's an insult that he will not take...and really, it's not just Sak, but what will happen to them when the day arrives? Uzaki, be less annoying...? |

| I should've known better its Tomokazu Sugita voicing Sakurai's dad. No wonder he seemed so fun. Also you can trust Uzaki to sink their snail paced development anytime, just anytime. |

| Sakurai could be a man about it, but hell nah, Uzaki is way too annoying to give in lmao. Really enjoyable episode again. Papa is already a chad and yet there's mom kicking even his ass. Monster family. You know Nodoka will grow up to terrorize her senpai. This show got even better after expanding the cast of characters. Looking forward to future interactions. |

| I'm starting to realize that part of the problem is that Sakurai is afraid to tell Hana how he really feels about her. In a sense that Sakurai doesn't see Hana as a lover/girlfriend, but just as an annoying friend. That's why they are not on a first name basis. This whole situation makes him uncomfortable when his father asks him about the nature of his relationship with Hana. This leads to his father instructing Sakurai to "Do Things Right" and be honest with his feelings for Hana. Of course it doesn't help that Hana is completely oblivious to Sakurai's feelings and thinks that Sakurai likes her. The only thing left for Sakurai to do was to banish Hana from Sakurai's apartment. There's no need for Hana to come over to his apartment whenever she feels like it when they are not dating yet unless Sakurai invites her over. Seeing Hana scratching at Sakurai's apartment door like a cat was very cute. |

| I really enjoyed Sakurai and baby Nodoka’s moments in this one, even though he didn’t know about her existing until last episode they’re already exhibiting wholesomeness lol. And I was surprised to see Sakurai’s family having a dojo, but it was fun seeing Sakurai take on his dad while also dealing with his love troubles, and then mama Haruko comes in and solos both of them lol. And after help from the men at the cafe, Sakurai almost makes a good move on Uzaki, but unbeknownst to her she completely ruins it by teasing Sakurai in her usual way which pisses him off lol. We almost had em, but looks like we’ll be getting the fabled Christmas date shown in episode 1 of this season soon, and right on time for actual Christmas lol. And I thought for a second that this was ending next week but thankfully this and Spy x Family Part 2 are 13 episodes, that’s freakin sweet! |

| Dammm Shinichi's mom.. MILF of the year But ugh.. I skipped several weeks of this anime, I think since 6th or 7th episode. It just drags the same jokes on and on. A relationship that doesn't go anywhere is a Nothing Burger. The first 5 minutes were nice, I wish the rest of it was like that. Not really digging all the beefcake in the rest of it. It's funny, but I can't take much more of this. Will watch episode 12 and if it's just another dead end teasing another season I'm done with it. The juice ain't worth the squeeze. Two people obviously in love who can't confess is more depressing than being alone. |
| Shinichi's father told him to be concerned of Hana's reputation with her coming over to his place and now she's banned. I'm sure Shinichi will explain why she can't just come whenever she feels like it anymore unless they do officially become a couple. I don't believe that Fujio knows that the girl troubles that Sakurai is having is from his own daughter but it looks like he'll find out soon, I do want to see his reaction when that happens. |

| Loved the Sakurai parental units this episode. Shows a lot of why the son is how he is. And damn that momma knows how to judo! Hana getting drunk and spilling the beans. Everyone ending up at the cafe and discussing things. Even with the best advice, the pair of them don't have a clue :) |

| The backstory between Uzaki, and Sakurai; seeing their history, seeing when it is that Uzaki fell in love with Sakurai, seeing them in secondary school. Sakurai having a scumbag father, who lies to his son, just to manipulate his wife into adult affairs. Sakurai having a new little sister, gives the option to continue the story; but following his little sister, instead of Sakurai. The episode was great, up until when Uzaki starts insulting Sakurai again. It reminded me why I dislike Uzaki's character, I hope she mellows out after they start dating. That is, if they start dating as it feels like they never will.  |

| Wow didn't expect that 1 on 1 scene with Sakurai and his dad. Seems his family has some long running history of Marshal arts looking at the Dojo, i wonder if there's any specific reason Sakurai didn't also specialises in it. Either way his dad, quite literally, beating the information out of Sakurai about Uzaki was one way to do it. Also how did his dad find out about Uzaki? I don't remember Sakurai explicitly telling his dad unless i missed something. Of course, a mothers wraith is always the strongest no matter who you are. Damn what is up with Dads in this show being ripped af. I absolutely need to see Sakurai's dad and Uzaki's dad do the predator handshake meme at some point, I can just imagine at like Sakurai and Uzaki's wedding the two dads finally meeting and pulling this stunt. |
