It's been a minute since Scott Calvin/Santa Claus/Tim Allen found his Mrs. Claus, and everything seems to be gravy until the Holiday Mascot Brigade calls an emergency meeting. Turns out that puckish scoundrel Jack Frost (Martin Short) has a frozen chip on his shoulder and has been trying to bogart Christmas out from under Tim Allen. The Council sentences Mr. Frost to community service at the North Pole, literally the place he's trying to conquer. What could go wrong?

...A lot, as it turns out. Using a magic snow globe or whatever, Jack Frost tricks Scott into wishing he'd never been Santa at all, invoking The Escape Clause, a stupid magic legalese trap which launches both of them back in time to 1994 when Scott involuntarily manslaughtered the previous Santa (really), where Jack then grabs dead Santa's coat and becomes Santa himself, causing a time paradox or something which sends Scott to an alternate-world 2006 where he never became Santa and instead prioritized his awesome career over his stupid family or whatever.

Still with me? Why? Anyway, Scott's gotta get his merry mojo back so he hops a plane to the North Pole which Frost has turned into a theme park (really); Christmas is now called "Frostmas" (implying Jack Frost died for our sins?), and parents can pay money for their kids to be placed on the nice list. That's right, Christmas is now pay-to-win, baby. Eat your heart out, Electronic Arts.

Predictably, Scott pulls an UNO-reverse and tricks Frost into invoking The Escape Clause, which sends them back to 1994 again, where Scott '06 manages to restrain Frost until Scott '94 puts on Santa's coat, becoming Santa as intended and restoring the Sacred Timeline or whatever. Back in the restored timeline Jack is arrested by the ELF POLICE (I'm in hell), and Scott's son's mother's daughter gives Frost a magic hug which unfreezes him (really) and he becomes just a guy. Oh, then Mrs. Claus goes into labor. The end. ...Right? That's it, this is the last one? Whew, good. There's no way they could possibHHNNNNNNNNGGGG—
