| It's sweet seeing Izumi and Shikimori getting a lot of alone time together for their date. Looks like Shikimori had the thought of a kiss in her mind. However, I'm also glad to see Shikimori's friends back again in this finale. This show wouldn't be the same without them. I did expect a bit more from the final episode but overall, the show was quite satisfying imo. 8/10 |

| Izumi and Shikimori's amusement park date...is sweet as hell. Trying on rides that can take a long time to wait for their popularity, and Shikimori's not the type to read on fairy tales and stuff like that. But regardless, their private time spent is all worth it, that's the attraction of the story of Sleeping Beauty...where Izumi becomes the sleeping beauty and Shikimori almost succeeding with that cheek kiss. There's no need to rush if you're actually having fun, and that the case for the lovebirds here. But of course, Izumi's bad luck continues in the date, where a dinner course that he wanted to bring Shikimori to as the peak got filled in by another couple...and instead, they went into an even more elegant and expensive dinner course that's very out of place. Shikimori going all aggressive against a passive Izumi, and he does the same. The last thing to do: as the commercial advertised its "world of dreams". Shkimori's thinking of the kiss, but Izumi's thinking of a child being escorted by her parents, and the latter's what they chose, with Izumi only realizing the gravity of the situation thereafter. The boat date that got its electricity cut out (once again, due to Izumi's bad luck), but for all the effort, Shikimori's princely hand kiss caught Izumi off-guard. This is a dream that Shikimori didn't want to let go off, and Izumi...is being brave and aggressive to embrace her, even a cheek kiss that leaves her more than happy enough. Of course, this incident would not slide off from friends, and both Yui and Nekozaki are being very perceptive enough to want to know the juicy details. The love and affection is just too big to let go of, and as Yui surmises, whether both Izumi and Shikimori act like an elderly couple or kindergarteners, it's fine, as long as they're happy. What a sweet finale, THE SWEETEST EVER. Despite the massive hate that Shikimori gets, there's a fair bit of enjoyment to be had. And I'm not gonna lie...I REALLY LOVED this show to bits. |

| Well personally disappointed with how the adaptation is treating the source material, hell it shouldn't be getting an adaptation in the first place, I thought the 1st half was the worst composition I've seen in a quite long while and this is mostly because of those unnecessary original scenes that fleshed out the worst out of Izumi's bad luck and Shikimori being cute, well that's all about it. I find the side characters a lot more compelling in terms of their own strength and weaknesses respectively it was a quite a saving grace and I couldn't care less to how the anime is potraying the main couple's relationship which in the end is quite painful to watch to say the least, hell I don't remember being in pain when reading the manga because the tone there were a lot more wholesome while the anime did capture that atmosphere, their interactions were awkward af. A mediocre anime overall well at least it ends on a fair note with a cheek kiss but it's pretty forgettable in a long run. |

| After exactly three months we finally are here, a gruelling three months. Far too many lows to even keep the count of, so one may hope this finale will redeem things at least to some extent. Thankfully it wasn’t something completely unbearable like all those times, as at least dude even after acting all fluffy for the major part of the episode did something completely out of his nature, something manly. I wonder how he managed though lol. Anyways it doesn’t mean we should overlook just how much of a mental torture it was watching him and his incurable disease episode after episode in its full glory, will take a while to erase this unpleasant memory from every nook and cranny of my body. And again thinking back it was hyped because, “ShIkIMoRi iS cOOOOOl”. FUCK. I feel like I should smack my head open on a wall. |

| Ah, a very cute date for the last episode, actually something romantic at last. I laughed at the explanation of the Sleeping Beauty because that's not how the real story goes but it is actually how we are told it is, I also laughed at the essence part Tablos ruined my life. Oh god, the bad luck strikes again, at least they got to go to a beautiful restaurant, huh, it seems they weren't that unlucky after all. Shikimori wants to do the thing for the commercial, we have been told since the previous episode, how cute that Izumi took some time to get it. And the light of the boat got off, are they in Venezuela or something? But despite that they are fine as long as they are together, and Izumi gave a kiss to the cheeks to Shikimori, I was hoping a kiss to the lips so a little dissapointed, but this is cute too. Overall, the series was pretty fine, not that good but also not that bad, still cute sometimes. |

| And so the big date is finally here. Shikimori sure picked an nice outfit for it. Im surprised that Izumi was able to fall asleep there. While it was unfortunate that his original seat was taken that was one hell of an upgrade that the restaurant provided though. Despite some missteps the escort scene was cute. This time though full marks to Izumi for being able to speak his heart to Shikimori. The darkness especially served to enhance that scene. Overall i really enjoyed the finale that while being sweet and romantic also served to give Izumi a little more development as a character. Showing initiative is something that's necessary in any romantic relationship after all. |

| Overall bit bland at times, expected something more from 'Shikimori is cool' and also enjoyed the side characters (especially Izumi parents) more than the main couple, but still had its wholesome lovely moments. |

| So we finish off this anime with a cute date between our main couple. Some things didn't go as planned, which is expected when Izumi is involved, but wow he actually managed to gather up some confidence and assert himself for once. It had some decent episodes here and there, but most of this show was more or less meh for me. I don't think it's as bad as a lot of people have been saying these last couple months, but it definitely felt like it could have been better. Still a relaxing and occasionally enjoyable watch though. |

| A VERY romantic date with Shikimori-san to end the series and the last leftover show of the Spring 2022 anime season for me. That was a single cour anyway. I'm a bit torn on this series and I feel a bit bad for it because it's primarily due to conditions outside its own control. To be quite frank, the COVID induced breaks absolutely destroyed this show's momentum for me. Those first 5 or 6, I forget exactly, episodes engendered such a strong feeling of goodwill from me. I know there was, and probably still is if that grossly underrated 6.96 current score on here is anything to go by, some controversial opinions regarding our male lead Izumi. That he was a "beta" or weakling or sissy or whatever sort of insult like that you wanna choose. To me, those criticisms seemed not only WAAAAY overblown, but downright wrong. If you accept the premise that he's literally under a bad luck curse, and if you don't then I question why you'd bother with this after the first episode anyway, then if anything he's a very strong male lead. Shikimori-san being his protector is just a main premise of the show, and it's an enjoyable one. To be honest, this was one of the most feel-good, refreshing romance series I've seen in a long, long while. Especially from kids in their age range. On that front I was feeling rather impressed. For the most part, with one glaring exception, the supporting cast was rather strong too. I loved actually nice Bakugo. And the sports festival outing where the yellowed-haired meme girl everyone seems to love got a chance to shine too. So to go back to that negative momentum swing I mentioned in the start, it pretty much revolved around Shikimori's blue-haired rival. To be frank, the 3 episodes where she got prominent attention just weren't fun to watch for me, at all really. MAYBE the last one where she bonded a bit with the last of the background friends was okay, maybe. But the others? That two parter at the library with the heart festival? Yeah we didn't need that. This series didn't need any love triangle drama. And it's no coincidence that the COVID-induced breaks started right around that point, so yeah. That's when I lost a lot of interest and enjoyment. It recovered some with episodes like the sports festival and this absolutely adorable finale, but I'm not sure I feel as strongly about it as I did early on, when i wanted to give it a solid 8/10 score. Instead I think I'll give it a generous 8/10, it's probably closer to a high 7. But yeah, either way you slice it I really did like quite a bit of this. |
| Really sweet last episode, the gondola scene was great, very cute. Overall, I quite enjoyed this. Some of the episodes can get a bit stale but overall it's a very cute fluffy show with it's own quirks and share of sweet moments that can make you feel goody when they hit. 7/10 |

| OK, maybe it's simple, there is nothing particularly strange or unusual, but it is very nice to watch. The anime is cute and these wholesome moments really raise the overall value in my eyes. I think the solid 7 is well deserved. At times, maybe even 8. The show definitely collected unfair hate. |

| Great episode! Izumi came up with a date plan to make sure he messes nothing up on this special day! Shikimori looked cool! INSTEAD OF IBARAHIME RIDE WHY DIDN'T WE GET TSUKIHIME RIDE?!! The restaurant gave the seat to another person accidentally! But they get another table! And it is an upgrade! Izumi liked the food a lot. Shikimori went overkill with the compliments! Shikimori wants to do what they saw in the advertisement?!! Izumi agreed... BUT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE WRONG ADVERTISEMENT xD. The park had a power outage. Izumi kisses Shikimori on the cheek and tells her he loves her and that he wantd to be with her forever! Arigatou gozaimasu, power outage-kun! Such a great show! I like the manga a lot also and I hope we get a season 2! |

| This episode left a good taste in my mouth after enduring such a bad series. I actually like how things ended. I wish we saw more of this sooner though. The date was very sweet and the boat ride was very <333 also Neko's reaction was so funny. Overall the show wasn't that great but the last few episodes were actually enjoyable. If they were to make a second season, I'd probably watch it |

| Their date was sweet. Final thoughts: I went in thinking that I'd really love this one and it was just okay for me. But there were a few episodes that I did really like; the ones with Kamiya, the athletic festival one, and the backstory. |

| That was such an adorable date! Even though Izumi’s cursed luck caused him some trouble, he also had some incredible luck too. I mean that restaurant at was so swanky, what an upgrade! Plus even when the lights went out, it really set the mood. And that kiss was so cute! Izumi and Shikimori really are a great couple. It’s been nice seeing him grow more confident this season. It’s also nice when Shikimori’s not her usual “cool” self and opening up more and just being, well, a cutie lol. All in all, a cute episode and a nice little ending to the series. One of the things I like about this show is how all the main characters are super likable. Shikimori might be the star of the show, but Hachimitsu is best girl. That’s just straight facts lol. |

| I really can't understand why this anime gets so much hate. To me, it was very enjoyable. As a romance, it wasn't a "Kimi ni Todoke" (that is probably my favorite of that genre), but was enjoyable anyway (specially the last few episodes). I see that many people try to compare it to the original work. I never read it, so I can't comment. And that's probably the reason why I was fully capable of enjoying the series. However, I've also seen people criticizing it because of the design of the eyes of the characters. C'mon!? Honestly, the only real problem I found in this series (once again, as someone who never read the original work) was the introduction of a recap episode in a 12/13 episode anime. That makes no sense. The only disappointment, on the other hand, was the fact that we didn't get to see a proper kiss scene in this last episode. :( |

| Come on, Izumi! You’d one bloody job and you failed, xD. In all seriousness though, this was a pretty nice finale to tie things up for the series. Didn’t expect Shikimori-san to wear a coat to a date though but everything really does fit her. One would have to wonder why her romance game is a little ways off the matured stage though, lol. But well, as long as they’re happy, I suppose that’s all that matters. Spending 90 mins just chit-chatting while waiting for a ride, that’s couple goals right there. I think a lot of people know this pain but 1.5 hrs?! Damn, that’s crazy. Fancy restaurant scene was quite hilarious too. Izumi’s switch was spot-on. And of course, the gandola scene! Expected something in the end but I’ll take it, thankfully there was at least something of substance done during that time. And their reaction afterwards says it all. All in all, it’s been a fairly fun series. Some of the episodes did feel stale though but some of the later ones picked up and I enjoyed the quartet’s interaction so I’ll settle with a 7/10 for this. |

| Well it was a pretty nice anime overall and the main characters improved a lot especially Shikimori who started out as a character that was way to perfect but started showing some more character after the anime progressed. I have to say that the couple was surprisingly innocent tho but that was funny to watch, and i am pretty sure that the waitress who interrupted them in the restaurant was enjoying the situation. The part in the gondola was also pretty interesting, the the reaction of their friends was a good laugh. |
| I really liked the date this episode, it was really sweet and wholesome. One thing I don't like and even the show points out is despite being in a relationship they act so embarrassed. It's hard to tell if they're a "pre-school couple or a middle-aged couple" Series started out alright but definitely lost alot of steam as the episodes went on. I really wished that they could have done more for Izumi. I would've loved to see the series focus more on Izumi overcoming his bad luck like in the sports festival episode. I'm pretty confident this isn't gonna get a second season if it does I'll eat my own words, but I just don't see it happening. I am struggling to decide a score for this series, It's between a 5-6, but I think for now I am gonna give it a 6/10, though If I rewatch it in the future that could change to a 5/10. |

| The final episode was sweet and wholesome as the show overall. We all expected them to kiss, but as their friends agreed, if they are happy, nothing else matters. Spring 2022 was filled with great romcoms. |

| A great finale, the amusement park date was as sweet as can be, there really were a lot of romantic moments to be had, like the sleeping beauty ride, the fancy restaurant, and the boat ride, lot of nice visuals there too. And I gotta give it to Izumi for going for a kiss, it was sadly just on the cheek but it was still awesome to see and Shikimori’s reaction was very cute, Izumi can definitely turn Shikimori’s cool mode off with enough effort lol. And of course the aftermath was nice, Izumi being flustered and Shikimori enjoying the warm fuzzies while spilling the tea to Hachimitsu and Nekozaki, and a final cool moment from Shikimori after the credits where she saves Izumi once again. This may have gotten some hate due to the hype around it, but I really loved this show. I think this definitely got better in the 2nd half, but I really enjoyed all of it, from the SoL and romance to the more serious plot with Kamiya, it was a fun ride. And thanks to the delays Doga Kobo was able to deliver consistent quality, I never noticed any animation or art dips and that’s great to see. The OP and ED were both excellent, very good songs and nice visuals, that ED is one I often go back to lol. And this was my final Spring 2022 show to end, it was a fantastic season imo and Shikimori definitely helped with that, I hope this gets another season at some point for sure, and I might even check the manga out for this one since I know stuff was skipped. |

Izumi really turned out to be something else in the end!!! He confessed to Shikimori!!! That was a pretty good scene. Anyways 8/10 for this anime!!!! |
| This last episode was incredible, I really wholesome way to end it. Honestly don't care for what other people have to say, I loved this show and this last episode tells me why. Shikimori and Izumu's moment together are just really cute. Really liked this anime, if it ever gets a second season I would watch it. |

| I slightly barely enjoyed the last 3 episodes and this date was a borefest even in terms of a date. everything just seemed a bit off, imma just skip the second season and cut my losses on my time wasted on this season. |

| Lovely chapter <3! Izumi and Shikimori went on a date, and they had a great time. It was really nice. The boat scene <3!!!, although the kiss...ok, it was also nice, but AHHH!!!, well.
