| Izumi's bad luck hits again as he has to enter the athletic festival. However, this was also a fortune for him since he gets to spend more time with Shikimori and friends. Tbh, I was rooting mostly for Neko this episode as she wanted to impress everyone and was trying her hardest. Yui also deserves a shoutout for never giving up on her team. |

| After the cultural festival, it's the athletic festival, and Izumi's bad luck strikes again...as well as Hachimitsu's. She can't escape, so the gang converges together in the boys and girls mixed relay race. At least someone's feeling better already. Preparing for the relay, and of course both Izumi and Hachimitsu are like children lagging behind the team. How Hachimitsu managed to store a coat on her upper body, it's magic, but also, effort put in. Even at the athletic festival, Hachimitsu being in her own world is hilarious to look at to see others work their best. Slow at picking and great at scoring, she did great with her own coolness. Time for the relay, and tension is high, but the unquaint girl tries her best only for Izumi's curse to inflict on her. Despite that, Izumi pushing her for motivation, that's already commendable. Izumi overcoming his bad luck to run without shoes for the rest to catch up their slack, this is the first time that he doesn't give in to adversity to break out of his own curse. And Shikimori...went up to 9000 on her lap for Inuzuka to finish their race strong. A really emotional race, and Hachimitsu is glad to have friends like the gang. Yui Hachimitsu's character is so endearing, she's the easy funny standout. Such a mood for being her character development episode. |

| The episodes just keep getting progressively better. Shikimori is really slept upon now. The relay race was so fun to watch. The group of friends is one of the most realistic and fun to watch I have seen in recent anime. This episode shows how truly close they are as friends. The relay race had me on the edge of my seat and cheering them on. Was it predictable? Yeah, but it adds to the charm as you knew they were going to try their hardest to win. Hachimitsu was the focus of the episode and she is a really good character. She really did steal this episode. 9/10 episode IMO |

| Man, those 5 really are good friends! That was one hell of a race. I mean Izumi’s curse almost caused them to lose this thing, but luckily they were able to catch up in the end thanks to Inuzuka and Shikimori. I really liked that we got to see a different side to Hachimitsu. I liked seeing this determined and motivated side to her. That last scene where she smiled was probably the cutest I’ve ever seen her. She’s so adorable! Izumi and Shikimori might be the stars of the show, but Hachimitsu is best girl. That’s just straight facts y’all. Also, I get the struggles of an indoor person forced to do something like a relay. I would also totally melt as well lol. The best part of this episode aside from the Hachimitsu stuff was probably the beginning with Inzuka and Izumi. Shikimori wasn’t worried about Kamiya because Inzuka is the one she’s gotta keep an eye on haha. That’s her true rival for Izumi right there. |
| Seems neither Hachimitsu and Izumi can escape their respective bad lucks. A relay formed from your own friends though is the best. Hachi's performance during the ball game was damm impressive. But even more so was Izumi and Shikimori's performance. She literally ran like a demon in her part lol. But in the end what an impressive victory for them. Its nice that Hachi was able to enjoy the event this year with her friends. The feeling that you get by letting everyone down during such events is a horrible thing so im glad that this time she avoided that. |

| Great episode! Hachimitsu and Izumi both practiced together a bit longer in preparation for the athletic festival. Hachimitsu had good accuracy at the ball toss! All of them went in even though she picked them up slowly meaning she did not win as she ran out of stamina... Hachimitsu fell! But she got back up and passed the baton to Izumi who caught up very fast! He lost a shoe! But kept on going after discarding the other! He passed the baton to Shikmori who ran very fast and then the baton was passed to Inuzuka! And he won the race! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| That was probably one of the best sports festival episodes I’ve seen, that truly slapped. Hachimitsu being focused this episode really helped too, I love seeing her get some development after being the funny side character for so long, it made me appreciate her more and how well the whole friend group works together. Also love the nickname from Nekozaki “Hachimichoo” lol. Shikimori also had a lot of great faces this episode, there were so many good ones, from the serious ones to the really cute ones, it’s true she’s not just a cutie lol. This was without a doubt another episode of this show that reassured my love for it, it was a great one. And in the week where a lot of Spring shows are ending we still got a couple weeks left on this one, I’m thankful the delays allowed for us to get quality content like this. |

| Well the end result was pretty obvious but it was nice to see the two characters that where struggling getting better and completing their tasks. As for the selection method well it's pretty much selecting the ones with the worst luck. At least the group of friends got closer ones again. |

| This anime is at it's best when the episode revolves around all five of them and not just stuck on the MC relationship dynamics. Quite an enjoyable episode. |

| UGH this is so painful, these guys are such failures, dragging the rest of the team down.... But then Hachimitsu falls, and despite doing something she never wanted to do, she gets back up. Izumi is stuck by bad luck once again, but he doesn't succumb to it; instead, he overcomes it, and presses on. Shikimori does Shikimori things and covers up pretty much all the lost ground, and hands the baton to Inuzuka, who sees how hard his team has fought. He vows to win, because the last thing he wants is to let his friends down. Kind of cheesy yeah, but it is something when you go into this expecting cringe, but come out of it feeling moved, even if it's just a little. |

| Very cliche but was entertaining to watch. I'm glad they managed to win, can't imagine how depressed Hachimitsu would have felt if they would have lost. 5/5. |

| It's surprising how much this anime has improved in latter episodes. If first episodes were of this quality it would be much better received. |

| This is the only Spring 2022 anime that I'm still watching because it still has 2 episodes left. I have nothing left except Shikimori-san. If the 2 delays didn't happen it would've ended already. I wonder if the next two episodes will be released in April. Muse Asia releases the episodes a few hours later than they used to since episode 9 but I don't think the actual time slot changed. This was a really good episode. Hachimitsu has quite a range of facial expressions despite it being static most of the time. Didn't think she'd get so much love later on. |

| Yo, I am actually crying, really loved the episode. Now this is the true power of friendship. Legit though, these are the kinds of friends you need in life. Like even the classmates accept Izumi for who he is with his bad luck, this is the ideal world lmao, so wholesome. Hachimitchoo! Our 4th wall breaking omniscient yellow lethargic girl actually getting development, and it was fantastic. Was smiling throughout the episode, especially when they won. Also, that glasses girl Shikimori traded spots with is a certified cutie. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| A rebound Shikimori episode for me as it showcase the friendship for our quintet cast. Yui is the focal character out of the five and despite her emotionless stature to others, she manage to cry out her emotions in order to help her friends to win the relay event, also how the hell can she do that bean bag contest, I am in awe. Hopefully the two episodes are like this because this series has been in rough waters for a while now for me. |
