| It didn't live up to what I had heard about it, think I gave it a 6. I enjoy watching highly acclaimed and/or popular anime to see if they live up to the hype/hate they get regardless. You should just give it a go if you're curious, some anime fail hard and others exceed expectations. |
| I watched Another ages ago and really enjoyed it (maybe because I was younger). It has some really wacky plot twists and the mystery, from what I recall, was really good. I would recomend it, absolutely. Maybe I'll rewatch the anime someday to see if my opinion changes, because yeah it has such a to-be B tier show potential. |

| Yeah, it's worth a watch. It's a good thriller that keeps you on edge episode to episode, and has a great climax. |

| I thought it was okay-ish and somewhat entertaining overall, but i ended up being mostly disappointed about it, tbh. The premise really is super interesting and full of potential, and the first few episodes effectively convey a very eerie and creepy atmosphere imo... but then around the 2nd half the show just devolves into a cheesy, over-the-top gorefest that provokes more laughs than thrills. Also, the final plot twist was very poorly executed and nonsensical. |

| I never understood why some people hate it so much. I thought it was fine, the mystery and the first few episodes were really interesting. The last few episodes were just a crazy conclusion, but when looking back on it, it wasn't so bad. |

| Mixed reviews are better than streak of unfavorable scores, but you should ultimately trust your gut. Another was decent for what it attempted to achieve: a mystery. It doesn't capture the essence of horror, but has its tropes and elements. Backed with great atmosphere and cinematography, there's at least some merit to it. I'm purposely not touching the story and quality of writing since I'm trying to convince you to watch it. |

| It's pretty, it's atmospheric and people die. But I found the premise silly in an anime, so I think you would appreciate it more if you read the manga. You should watch the OVA though. |

| Well, as you can see - you got mixed reviews once again lmao Pro-tip - don't ask a random audience about whether you should watch something or not. You can get the mass opinion about an anime by the rating it has in the site. What's more effective is to know a limited amount of people who either have similar tastes with you, or know you well enough to make a great guess whether you'd enjoy a certain anime. Works almost every time. Well, to answer your question after all - Another is a good anime and deserves a watch imo |
| Why do people say Another is bad? Do people actually take Another seriously? It's one of those anime that is mainly worth watching for its death scenes. If you like mindless gore and blood, then you won't find anything better. |
| Do you like watching people brutally die in different ways? Do you like shows like Final Destination? If yes, watch it. If no, don't watch it. The gore scenes are the highlight of the show, if you aren't into that you won't get much out of Another. |

| I found a lot of the deaths pretty funny eventhough I'm pretty sure they weren't suppose to be. If you go in with that kinda mindset, it can be pretty entertaining. Its not as hilariously bad as something like Big Order, but if you go in expecting to be able to take any of the death scenes seriously, you probably wont get much out of it. |
| The only way I’ve been able to tell if something was worth watching to me was to go and watch it, and decide for myself. That being said, I did enjoy watching Another. It’s definitely not a good show, it’s not very original or clever, and I didn’t realize that it is supposed to be a horror show, but for some reason I found it kind of fun. Now I can absolutely understand why a lot of people don’t like it, but if you want to watch people die in very gory and stupid ways, you might like it. |
