I was wondering how they'd get him to start pitching again. all the fan art of him seemed to imply that he could, but I wasn't sure if it was him since I didn't look to closely (to avoid spoilers).

I wonder if Shimizu will quit the softball team to join the baseball team?

also curious about Toshi and Ryoko. I'm assuming that they're dating by now.

Okay there it is, so he did manage to learn how to throw with his other hand.

And Yamane is just Sawamura on steroids.

Yes, Kaoru, preach it.

Dammit. I was expecting awesome baseball this season but it turns out to be the whole "bully joins the team" plotline again. I thought we already saw that in season one. T_T Spare me. Yamane's actions are so illogical.

Hopefully, the next episode will have some badass Goro and Komori! :D

The whole thing with Yamane reminds me of Slam Dunk. I was wondering how Goro would get back into it with an injury, glad they actually gave a plausible reason instead of "lol willpower." Looking back, I think Ryoko was the girl who gave Goro directions in episode 1. I wonder if they're going to follow season 1's pattern now with Toshiya becoming a rival yet again.

Oh thank god, seems I spoke too soon. And now we have the revived Goro, ready to kick @#$ as a lefty. Actually really happy about the fact he was training these three years, was ecstatic when I saw that bag and the target in his backyard. Anyways, looking forward to how it goes from here.

Lel I cant be the only one who noticed it immediately after the first ep. in the OP both goro and yamane throws with his left, that should've gave it away already (though havent knew yamane was injured at that point though)
How do I signature?

Oh. Ohhhhhh. That took 3 years of rehabilitation, but it seem rewarding after all. Damn, not everyone can go from being a right pitcher to a left pitcher. I can't even write shit with my left hand... I can't imagine how hard it must have been.

His little step-brother look adorable. ''GANBARE, GORO-NII-CHAN!!''
T'was so cute :3

Shimizu sure forgot her promise pretty fast xD
Didn't took half an episode before spoke to him back :P

Left handed, very interesting. Wonder if it's a given if your good at pitching with one side naturally you can be just as good with the other with enough practice.

Yamane is exactly like Mitsui from Slam Dunk.
I was sure that Goro will throw with his other hand, let the baseball club be revived!

Well it's not like it's too sudden, he practices throwing with his left. I just hope we see him struggle in the first half, being obviously worse than he was with his right.

And yeah the bully plotline again was a bit boring, but glad it's over fast. His story was really messed up, some shitty senpai fucked up his arm for life just to get his position.

I thought that Goro would come back to baseball by becoming a batter like his dad. Nice to see that he will still be pitching.

The bully rehash was eh, but it was an alright episode all the same.

I wondering the whole time why one couldn't switch arms if they devoted enough time to it, but I didn't expect it to actually happen like that. Haha.

Three years of practice makes it seem plausible enough to given Gorou's natural talent. I'm guessing he was initially planning on waiting until he was in high school (four years of practice rather than three) before getting back into baseball again, but has now decided to return earlier because of everything that happened.

It still really sucks that his right shoulder is toast though. Who knows what sorts of crazy pitches he might have been able to throw by now had he been more responsible.

I saw a couple people here commenting on Shimizu re-joining the baseball team, but is that even allowed in middle school? From what I recall Ryoko saying in the first season, it was her last chance to "win against boys" since she was in sixth grade and therefore in her last year of Little League. I'm pretty sure Misuzu is stuck with softball because of that.

While I can understand where Yamanes bitterness is coming from it's still not an excuse for his behaviour.

And Gorou is right, that team is a bunch of shits, time for some work.

Great to see Goro pitching again! Felt kinda sad after Goro said he stopped playing Baseball. Oh boy, he is good in soccer, but still its not feeling right.

And now seeing his first pitch with his left hand! Hes going to be the best southpaw!!!

Kinda started to like Goros new voice. In the beginning it felt inappropriate and unusual, probably cause I liked kid Goros voice so much.

At first I thought I dislike it seeing all of the guys being teens. But after this episode they kinda didnt change at all and Ive got the feeling from the first season back.

Shimizu is still the same. I hope shes coming back to Goros team in baseball!!!
My only regret is having regrets!

this was good developing characters - build up episode.
i excepted the end from the beginning, but it still made me excited.
from some reason this episode very very (very) reminding me the episode from s1 which komora stopped being bullied by sawamura and sawamaura learned no to be bully.
want more of shimizu, my favourite character~
and it seems that there's already a game next ep, that's good... i guess.

Yamane recalled me Slam Dunk (with a bit more sense, because Yamane never healed), but still, that doesn't forgive his bully attitude.

Anyway, another bully character plot. We have already seen in the first season and in other shows. Not too bad, but anything special.

It works to build up new characters, I guess.

Silly Yamane, don't try to ruin the baseball club but take the anger of the permanently injured arm out on the shitty senpai by breaking his arm, perhaps a little 160 km/h deadball to the head or something else.
