| Haven't smoked it before as I write this. Only have had edibles and other oral routes of use. I have mixed feelings about how it feels. On one hand I like the forcus small doses of THC give me but I also wind up feeling anemic and can feel more depressed because it can enhance emotions. It has risks but is safer than alcohol and cigarettes. The THC to CBD ratio effects how people react to it. Caffeine also modulates the cannabinoid receptors which can alter a high to be more overwhelming. It has some benafits too. |

For me personally I relax and open, become way more sociable and laugh easier for some reason. For some reason it feels like time moves more slowly and each moment is more fun. Its mellow. |

For the most part, it's not even that bad. |

| I ate a weed gummy candy recently this year to try it out. I wasn't a fan. The dry lip was my biggest gripe. Felt thirsty as fuck and drinking water barely helped. Apparently marijuana target your saliva glands and inhibits them. Dry mouth/lips feels awkward at best, often times uncomfortable. I feel like social media nowadays in general talk positives about weed, likely to incentivize people to buy them now that it's legal, or tried to legalize them by talking about positives. Whatever the case, the side effects is often left in the dust, and I'd tell people who are curious to actually read up on all the effects it can generate and see if you're still up for it. Me personally, the loss of my mental faculties wasn't a plus either. I don't need a drug to "relax" myself, as I'm pretty relaxed in general. |
| Surprisingly, I didn't hear many people acknowledging that today was 420. I wouldn't say weed is a dangerous recreational drug - especially in the grand scheme. It can of course have side effects for some people, but for the most part it just helps people to chill. However, it's best to save your lungs and not do it, or at least don't plan on using it long-term (save your money too). |

They usually say the exact amount of THC and CBD if present. You maybe took a dose too high for you especially for first time. About having a dry mouth there are lozenges and sprays and rinses for dry mouth that may help. Lip balm would moisten lips if they were dry too. |

In India cannabis is made into a psychoactive drink called bhang and is used in worship of Shiva. Some people think Siddhartha the Budda smoked weed to reach enlightenment. In Japan while lost in modern times Taoists consumed cannabis via smoke huts mixed with ginseng to divine the future, Shinto priests use hemp in various rituals even today (though that's a bit dfferent) and there is a goddess associated with cannabis iirc and there also was a beleif regular use of smoking it could make you gain the ability to see spirits. In the middle east it used to be pretty common for Muslims to smoke hashish even though they are forbid from drugs like alcohol. Though Im not sure if it was the Arabs or the Turks doing that. Some parts of Africa have been smoking it a long time I think maybe Ghana is one but I may be mistaken in my memory it just was first to pop in my head. It was and is basically used like medicine but sadly it's caught up in bloodshed now in some countries. It's suspected the Vikings possibly smoked it but it's not certain. The Spanish brought it to Mexico and the Mexicans brought it to the US where it wound up part of Jazz culture. |
