Today I went to the eye-doctor because I'd been having occasional twitches in my left eyelid for months.
He said it was unrelated to my e-sight, but recommended me -0.75 (95º) for my right eye and -0.50 (120º) for my left one, plus "blue filter lens".
I have no idea what any of that means, though my entire family has to use glasses, so that's to be expected.

How is it for you?

My vision is good enough to not need an aid.
No, this isn't my signature.

I haven't had my eyes checked for years. I for sure don't think their as good as they were 30+ years ago, but I don't and have never worn glasses, even for reading.

-7. My eyes are fucked worse than most of my family's eyes, and have been this way since I was in Elementary school, probably earlier.

I’ve had glasses since second grade. My sister, my mother, and I are all myopic, so it’s probably hereditary.

Eye lid twitching is usually because you don't sleep enough, drink too much caffeine and all that.
Your eyes are not that bad, it's only moderately bad, but you'd probably be required to wear glasses to drive.
Also I feel like blue filter is just marketing, I don't think it really does anything.

Perfect 20/20 vision baby. Don't need glasses unlike the rest of you four-eyes.

Blue filter does reflect light, my glasses with it and my dad without it reflect differently to and from screens. I would skip the anti water lens properties they try to sell. It is worse to clean the glasses and I rarely ever got them wet.

I have -.25 and -.5 on the eyes. And astigmatism, so a light like ` looks like *. But I started to use glasses because my eyes started to hurt at the end of the day when I was more physical active. But I probably needed to use them sooner.

@Daviljoe193 -7 is worse than if I were to add up both my eyes... You are practically blind o.o

@JaniSIr One of these days I'll have to go through the joys of retinal detachment, and the surgery to correct it. Can't wait to enjoy the experience of live eye surgery, from the POV of the patient. 😮‍💨

Have worn glasses for several years now. I have to wear them all the time. Blue filter lenses filter the blue light from electronic screens, so if you're on a computer alot I would recommend getting them. I've used a pair on my computer for a few years now and I can do long sessions and not feel any pain in my eyes.

Be safe and well travels,
Chris

I don't drink caffeine whatsoever, though.
I only drink water, natural juice and milk.

I used to think that I had perfect eyesight, though.
Then the doctor kept changing the lens in that exam asking me if "it got better", and yeah, shit became pin-hole effect 4K HD, like it was right in my face.
At some point she began changing and I stopped seeing any difference.

It's pretty good. I did an eye test fairly recently and my sight has hardly deteriorated at all during the past 10 years. If I'm gonna spend some time reading, either on a screen or on paper I'll put on glasses. Not because I need them but because I don't want to make the eyes work when they don't need to. But aside from that I don't use them

I wonder if the backlight of phones and tablets is what's ruining the eyes of people? I always have everything turned down to the lowest setting since anything else makes me wanna wear sunglasses

@Lost_Viking I couldn't wear contacts even if I wanted to, touching my eye is so bad.

If you are talking about involuntary spasm of an eyelid, it is called myokymia. Though I had it sometimes, it was nothing serious in my case. As for blue light thing, I'm skeptical its scientific evidence. Probably, the doctor suspected you watch monitors too much time.

I forgot to answer your question. I'm shortsighted but not so terrible. I have two glasses for different purposes. Though I don't use any when I'm in my house.

Sadly I am nearsighted, so I definitely have to have glasses on whenever I am driving. Otherwise I won't be able to see the stop sign and...well... XD

Like standard definition without glasses and HD with glasses. I don't wear them since it only effects my ability to spot small details or read at a distance.

For as long as I remember, I have had slightly blurry vision. I have gotten mixed responses from doctors regarding it. It is only within the last two or so years that I have begun wearing glasses (ones which cost a few dollars).

Perfect 202/20 or some shit.

I also have great low light vision. Only downside is that I need sunglasses most of the year as my eyes are a bit light sensitive

I was prescribed glasses during an eye checkup in school but I never actually wore them. Never went to the eye doctor after I finished school and I don't have any problems with reading so far.

I've Enjoyed 20/20 via Prescription Eyeglasses for my Entire Adult Life.

i don't remember how well i could actually see through my Childhood...
All that i Can Recall is Tthe time when i began to "Wake Up" and suspect that my Vision was sub-optimal,
and hit up the Optometrist to ultimately find out that indeed i very much needed Prescription Glasses rather Badly.

All of This, of course coming down right around the Turn of the Century; when i was just hitting Adulthood...

I've needed glasses since I was around 12, but my prescription was pretty consistent until two years ago it had plummeted for some reason. Putting on new glasses with the updated prescription was like a whole new world being revealed to me.
Some of you never watched Bakugan Battle Brawlers on TeleToon in 2008 and it shows.

I don't remember exactly as it's been a while, tho I have between -2.5 to -3, something around that. Maybe little less, I have no idea. All I know that the moment I take off glasses, I can no longer recognise details and features of someone face from further than 2-3 meters away? I don't remember the distance as I wear glasses all the time.
