| Pillow Hunt (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) with the amnesiac Laffey xD Laffey is being bold for the final episode, dumping herself onto shipgirls with big boobs to find the best pillow. Nice to see the entire cast come together to discern Laffey's behaviour for a nice finish, she is just half-asleep the entire time. |

| Laffey creating trouble and the others didn't notice well we can to see lot's of characters so it should be fine. But there are so many characters we didn't get to see. Hopefully we will get another anime at some point. |

| Pretty nice fan-services episode. Poor.. Niimi, when her size cannot satisfy Laffey. Miyafuji Yoshika should know about this. This would be truly heaven for her. 😏 |

| Laffey focused episode for the finale, this was great. Laffey's attack on oppais, now this was top tier fanservice. Laffey was adorable as usual. Need season 2 of this asap. |

| Just the episode needed to finish the side-story off, lol. A serious journey in search of paradise, what a dream that ought to be. Nice to see that the victims were concerned for Laffey-chan though. Illustrations have been a major plus for obvious reasons xD. Aside from that however, it's been hit or miss for me, to be brutally honest. |

| They pulled the "Loli in box" joke, that was a great start. This episode could had been longer and make every ship they interacted this season appear. With all respect I would love to see Bismarck and Prinz Eugen one last time. Laffey is living the life,no doubt. Was a great journey. |

| So Laffey was sleepwalking the whole time looking for a pillow at the same time causing trouble for the rest of the ship girls by touching their boobs. I don't blame her because we can all use a boob pillow. This was a great series and hopefully we can get some more Azur Lane anime adaptations between this and Queen's Orders. The bots are at it again by giving this episode a bunch of 1's. smh. |

| Exactly the kind of stuff I expected, now that is a true pillow hunt. Don't worry Nimi-chan, even if Laffey doesn't accept you. I will! I will complain though, we went through most of the cast that showed up in previous episode but somehow we didn't get an extra taste of Bismarck, Eugen, Taihou, Dunkerque, Carolina sisters and Shoukaku. Why must you deny me my glorious scenes? I did chuckle when Laffey said she was asleep the whole time. Overall, great series. I liked the older anime too but this was definitely better and much more fun to watch. Honestly, my only complaint would be that I didn't get to see a lot of my favorite ships, well at least we got Bismarck and a lot of Nimi-chan. I kinda expected them to have the foxes in at least one episode but unfortunately not, where's my Akagi and Kaga? Hopefully, there's another season down the line cause I would love to see more. 8/10 |

| Well... since I don't play the game and think the main anime series was plain awful, this was what it was. An extremely boring spin-off overall. 3/10 - No Prinz Eugen nor Bismarck for the finale? Big sad moment. |

| Ladies and Gentlemen, i present to you the short but sweet, Azur Lane: Slow Ahead the Azur Lane anime for when the chibis of your favourite shipgirls wandering around in the dorm starts to get a little boring. Story/plot, i mean relatively early on you could probably tell there isn't really much of one, the episodes consist of 7-8mins max of pure chill and calmness following the o.g destroyer gang, with some of your personal favourite shipgirls dropping in each episode. You follow them around the port watching their small adventures and interactions with others, the change of scenery of beaches, fair grounds, amusement parks, onesans is just great to watch. Yoster didn't shy away from the fanservice in this anime, which if you play the game, you could probably tell they know what there fan base likes. Fanservice never felt like it was to over the top, and felt generously sprinkled over each episode and honestly i felt pretty content with it. Visuals were nice, definitely not fussed about them, end card illustrations were all amazingly well drawn. Voice acting was great, loved to hear and see some of my favourite ships interact and talk to one another outside of the game. All in all 7/10, a short but sweet super chilled Azur Lane SOL anime were we get to see some of our favourite shipgirls fully animated, sprinkled with generous amounts of fan service, what more could you really ask for? For both long time players of the Azur lane mobile game, and new players who picked it up recently, i'd say you'd love this adaptation of the game. Big hopes for a second season! I await to see a fully animated deutschland, Friedrich der Große and Hipper. |

| This anime was very relaxing, pretty much as I expected. I used to play azur lane about three years ago, so I was somewhat familiar with the characters. I think I would have enjoyed the show more if I still played the game. I did like KanColle though despite not being familiar with any of the characters. This show for me is a 6/10. Edit: Not gonna lie I redownloaded azur lane because of this show lol, but I deleted it after I opened it since I did not have my old account saved :/ Is the other azur lane anime worth watching? |

| Not only booba can serve as pillows Laffey-chan (hint - New Jersey mousapad presentation during the JP 4th anniversary stream). From long time SKK perspective: The "main" anime is some alternate timeline that is some day going to be destroyed due to SKK not being there, since he... We? I? Are some kind of key element in the puzzle. At least the recent AL lore seems to be implying that. So, as much as it sucks, it's as good as non-existent. Slow ahead on the other hand is a perfect representation of what's going on in game timeline when girls aren't busy. SKK isn't present because he's bedridden, getting blood transfusions and pumped with insulin due to a combination of cute and horni, and if I could pick my isekai destination I'd gladly take truck-kun to the face. Overall, I'd say it gets 10/10 in both "cute girls doing cute things" and "azur lane" categories. So 20/10, you can't convince me any lower score will do it justice, mal scale is shid. SEASON 2 WHEN? |
| Very nice season finale showcasing the delicious waifus of the game. It's too bad Taihou didn't make an appearance. She's one of the bustiest waifu after all. 7/10 |
