| One of the saddest backstory I read. I am actually in tears reading this :( This partially explain why Yoriichi isn t well known because he is disgrace and he is legend. As in eyes of demon slayers corps he is disgrace who fail to kill Muzan,let Tamayo and His failure cause a lot People To die. Poor Yoriichi those demon slayers corps are bunch ungrateful scums lol I laugh at the fact they can t do any better they probably can t even scratch Kokushibo let alone Muzan. Shitty demon slayers corps who expelled Yoriichi. Good riddance some of them got kill by Demons and Muzan himself. Fail all his goals and treat with contempt by His demon slayers colleagues. Fail to protect his wife and his kid. Couldn t stop his brother from becoming demon What hurt me the most all he want is to live happy life with his wife and son. Like Tanjiro,He is very kind and Humble person that doesn t deserve this. 😭 Cemented as my most favourite flashback anime character in anime/manga and one of my top ten favourite anime characters. |

| Not defending the demon slayers who want Yoriichi to seppuku but there reasons to their distrust of Yoriichi 1. Yoriichi brother and disciple betrayed everyone and turned into a demon 2. Yoriichi let another demon to escape (Tamayo). We know Tamayo is good but the other don't, they see him as letting a demon go, potentially cause more deaths. 3. Yoriichi let Muzan escape, people gonna thinks that he intentionally spare Muzan escaped because of his brother 4. Yoriichi isn't the talky type and he doesn't even bother explain himself to anyone else, so they gonna distrust him even more. 5. He already sshowed sympathy toward demons, they probably afraid he might follow his brother footsteps. This combine with the fact Yoriichi was a quiet person with little interaction with other demon slayers mean that they can't trust him not to do that. |

| I'm so glad Yoriichii lived until he was old and died standing and didn't let his brother kill him. But this is so sad. Also so the 13th form can kill Muzan if Tanjiro slices all those 1800 pieces xd |

| Everyone in this series has so much regret and pain that they carry inside them, I hope Gotuge is ok.. Can we take a moment to appreciate how OP Yoiriichi is? He wasn't even touched by Muzan, he made him look like Giyuu made rui. Disgusting how his friends treated him afterwards. |

| Art used in this chapter was simply excellent! I loved how the story was told. You could see what was happening, but without additional details - it was a memory after all. You saw what Yoriichi managed to tell, nothing less, nothing more. Yoriichi's story is one of the saddest in the series. After experiencing such tragedy as losing his wife and unborn child, he dedicated his life to fighting demons and to completely annihilate them. Yet he failed, his brother became a demon himself, and Demon Slayers Corps ordered Yoriichi to abandon his profession as a demon slayer. Breat of the Sun 13th technique looked very good, but what was its best element was efficiency. Too bad Muzan could hardly, but still, conquer it. Man, Yoriichi was fast as hell. He still managed to destroy 1500 out of 1800 small pieces of Muzan's body. About Muzan's body, hearing about him possessing several hearts and brains was... quite interesting, hah. @Levi_Ackerman_30 , @Shreyas2002 maybe Tanjirou is from Sumire's line, and that boy from the Swordsmith Village is perhaps from that other child's line? :P It is clear now they had a common ancestor, which was Sumiyosi. |

| Dang. Yoriichi had a tragic story as well. Why does this manga have a tendency to kill women with kids? Not cool man. Poor Yoriichi. He just wanted to live a peaceful and quiet life with his family. Muzan vs Yoriichi. As expected, Yoriichi totally annihilated the king of pop. What surprised me was the fact that his flesh decided to kamikaze into the atmosphere. Overall, very good chapter. I have full respect to Sun-bro |
