Yato, Yukine and Hiyori
My absolute favorites as a trio.
Their dynamics are so incredible and the friendships to each other (or love in addition to that between Yato and Hiyori) feels honest, they care a lot for each other, but it's not a "stock-friendship", because their relationships are very unique and light-hearted enough to make them actually enjoyable and I love their teasing to each other and everything.
I love / like them very much individually and as a trio. How they treat each other is very believable and not just a superficial Shounen anime-message about friendship. Their friendship actually makes a difference for Yato, since he gets the chance to change through people's support. Similar for Yukine.
Hiyori is personality-wise less interesting imo, because she grew up so normally, but she's emotionally very mature for her age, tries to understand people and is very compassionate.
My other two favorite trios are Emma, Norman and Ray and if you could call them that Yuu, Mika and Shinoa. Here it might be little bit overlooked and there are also the novels, but Shinoa and Mika protected each other by now a few times haha and I like the little stuffs about them like how she's actually worrying and I also like her personal reasons to love Yuu. And Mika and Yuu are my OTP anyway, which I could write much about. :D
For Emma, Norman and Ray, they are such a great team, they just belong together and also care for each other so much. I love how they treat each other and just... everything about them.
Besides them, I also really like Riko, Reg and Nanachi as much as Aladdin, Alibaba and Morgiana (although Hakuryuu also was with them a few arcs long).
I don't know for D.Gray-man since their are four mains, but Kands isn't there quite a long time and they split often in general, but let's take Allen, Lenalee and Lavi too. I love many relationships there, but especially the friendship between those three (and Kanda and Alma).
HeruruMeruru said:Takato, Jen, and Ruki in Digimon Tamers, of course. I just really love the dynamic they had. I think focusing on a trio allowed for them to have more character development than the "large group of kids" dynamic the other Digimon series had.
Yes, they were pretty good too.
Although all the series had 50 episodes, so it wasn't impossible to give all of them their own moments. Still they focused very much on Taichi, Yamato and Mimi, partwise Sora, Hikari and Takeru in the first one. Izumi and Jou got their moments too, but they got less of them. I kinda liked them too.
Oh and although they were separated many times, I really liked Gold, Silver and Crystal. |
