It took me 2 days to finish S1 of Code Geass. I probably could’ve binged the whole thing but it was like 2 in the morning and I had to get up and do stuff. Good show.

Also welcome to MAL (•o•)/

I once marathoned a two-cour show.

It was a bad idea, because I didn't enjoy it.

So, don't do that.
Avatar character is Gabriel from Gabriel DropOut.

Did you not enjoy the show specifically or the act of binging it? Or maybe both?

OT: I don't remember binging a 2-cour but I remember finishing a 3-cour in 2 days. It was Death Note.

If I don't need to walk the dog, help my mother with anything I finish it around 10h.
Normal if I find stuff I love I can watch around 32-36 eps a day, so 24 eps woud be a fast watch.

But some shows take way longer to finish, if it's a boring one, it can take up 2-3 days.
And that's slow for me.

I think it depends on how you live, if you healhy or sick, if you go too school or work etc.

One time I got stoned and watched all of Kill la Kill in a single sitting (minus bathroom and snack runs). It was pretty great.

Fastest I've finished is less than a day. The first was Code Geass but there are several that I've finished in around the same length of time

Well it should be impossible to finish a 24 episode anime in 6 hours.
Most anime are around 24 minutes long. Take away 1 minute 30 seconds for the OP and I'll estimate about 1 minute for the ED. That leaves 21 minutes and 30 seconds per episode. So that multiplied by 24 is about 516 minutes which is 8 hours and 36 minutes.

Back when doing all-nighters was the norm for me, I could watch up to 40 episodes a day. Nowadays I could probably still finish a 24 ep anime in a day, but I'd have to be really into it. If it's nothing special, it'd probably take me 2-3 days.

Then, 9 hours.

Watchetd SNK's full S3 (22 eps) in less than a day since I had only 1 morning class. But I had a water bottle nearby and took a break to eat. Anime episodes are petty short so it's easy to binge watch, just make sure to stay hydrated

prob around 3-4 days. i don't remember the exact series, but i remember watching steins;gate, tiger & bunny, and toradora a lot faster than i usually watch other 24 episode series.

i have a pretty shitty attention span, plus i'm busy with school, so i don't really think i could ever watch a 24 episode series in less than 3 days

I don't get this obsession with speed.

A good series is like a good wine - more enjoyable in small sips. If you gulp it in one sitting - yes it can be fun but you could miss some spice or forget what it was about after week or two.

And some titles (like cheesy lighter stuff) are more binge watchable, other require watching them in smaller chunks for better digesting if the content is a bit meaty and complex.

There are solutions for people who like to gorge themselves with big quantities - for example watching many episodes at once but from different shows.

never really bother to keep track of time watching anime, so however long it takes to watch all eps back to back. sometimes i skip op/ed but tbh i usually just let them play. they're like extended commericial breaks that give me time to get a drink/snack or hit the bathroom.

it's just me in the house these days, and i only work 3 days a week so i end up with plenty of free time. i'll typically blow 1 day a week just binging shows. last week i re-binged a place further than the universe, toradora, and sakura quest in one marathon go.. so total of 63 eps back to back until i was done?
