| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I think it's fine so far, was expecting a lot of CGI but it turned out to be just fine for the animation quality. We meet Kei from this episode. However, the character to really keep an eye is Tilarna Exedilika. Quite a mysterious character imo. |

| This was really nicely put together. I was worried about the studio and staff, but they're doing a great job at bringing this crazy world to life. It's really brutal right off the bat and I love the main characters, they'll make an interesting team. The action scenes are nice and I hope the production can keep it up. It will be a fun time. And this line was iconic. "Satan can suck my dick". Kei is great. |

| What a kickass opening. And wow, given how many different tags this has I didn't know whether to expect a clusterfuck or something distinctive with potential. Glad it seems to be the latter and I'm surprised how enjoyable this first episode was. |

| Oh, this was an interesting watch! Seeing the brutal start, I’d different ideas in mind for the remainder of the episode but it’s good that what transpired was definitely more enjoyable! I was really worried about the quality, thanks to the Studio and Director’s past works, but this was solid for the most bit here! Moreover, I’m really liking the dynamics of the two main characters and the storyline seems to be fairly complex too so looking forward to more of this show! Op & ED were pretty fine to me and the soundtracks pretty good too! |

| That was actually a pretty good episode. Like the idea and it overall seems like it could be a fun journey. OP is also contender for OP of the season Also Model S police cars damn this society is ahead of ours :P |

| That was way better than expected! It felt a bit like a mix of Kekai Sensen and Psycho Pass and there are for sure worse shows to remind me of. |

| I'm actually loving this concept so far. The animation looks pretty good, both the OP & ED sound amazing, and we have some interesting main characters. This looks rather promising in my opinion. |

| At first, it looked pretty interesting and mature... but then loli started to talk. Oh man, was there really the need for that? As if people can't sympathise with characters that aren't so annoyingly cute. I get that the setting allows for these types of characters to be introduced and it can be handled decently later on, but it really screwed up my first impressions. In the end, it still looked pretty interesting, I hope the story won't be a mess and only keeps getting better. |

| I was curious what this series can bring new to suck an old context... apparently old timey filter and some very disturbing NWO stuff. Why is UN so powerful? Why do they accept those aliens? Why do they care what happens to them? So far I am in the criminal team all the way |

| reminds me of Netflix's Bright. fantasy set in a modern world with the main focus on cops with a strong hint of discrimination between the fantasy races and the humans. CGI was kept to a minimum (car scenes) but at least it's way better than what the studio has done before (with the Berserk series). very interested to see where this goes. i'll lol if the ultimate goal is to obtain a magical wand |

| i see range murata, i see a loli heroine, i see a miidle-aged protagonist, and i see a combination of a loli and a miidle-aged protagonist. I put this anime on my watchlist eventually. |

| That was really good! I had a ton of fun with this. Although the show feels a bit strange. Like it feels like it shouldn't exist in the modern era I can't help but think that certain aspects of it feel racist. There's nothing BLATANTLY racist about it, but I sighed when they went out of their way to mention Mexican gangs. At the same time however, the way the girl questions the cop she's with and the way they portray him, it sometimes feels almost like a criticism of police corruption. There's even a hint of racial profiling he presents with respect to the characters from other worlds, and the show feels like its criticizing him for it. I don't really know what to make of this show in that sense. I had fun with it but I'm confused as to whether or not its trying to say something about police corruption or if it just happens to have scenes like this and is actually kinda racist. Maybe I'm looking to deeply into things I dunno |

She basically comes from a different dimension with different culture, magic etc. so I can even fathom her design that won't fit the rest of the show. The way I interpret is that this is intentional to hammer home the point that she is quite the unique appearance in this world and doesn't fit with the rest of the world. |

Will give it a few episodes. |

| Pretty good. Rip Rick. I think they handled his death in a pretty believable way. Unlike Kekkai Sensen the people from the other world all look very human like. I can tell this will also have a much darker tone. Definitely a more impressive first episode than Dr Stone or that Fire one. |

| I'm a little mixed on this one, it seemed a little rushed but I enjoyed it nonetheless. (Really this opener should have been a double episode) I'll give it a few episodes to grow on me. |

| This opened on a dark and violent scene, it played out so well, there was so much setup and payoff. It led to the death of Kei's partner, which had visible repercussions on his family left behind. After that we got the amazing opening, love the vocals and the visual style, overall the fantasy/noir aesthetic is very immersive. The pace was a bit all over the place with a much-needed exposition dump for a setting as ambitious as this one. The dynamic between Kei and the alien girl was fine, both have strong personalities but they don't butt heads too much. It's clear they'll overcome their differences somewhat to work together. At the end, the action choreography was hard to follow, too fast, but the sound effects, music, and voice acting were on point. Some well-used CGI like the cars and character models from a distance. The use of the car for establishing alien girl's character was repetitive, hopefully now that the setup is out of the way we'll get into some good investigations. I'm looking forward to the next episode. |

| It was....kinda interesting. At least for now. The CGI is ok at times and bad in others(particularly didn't like the boat scene). Things get heavy quick when dude partner gets his neck snapped and then he has to tell his wife. I was a little worried about the dynamic with the loli(and still am) but for now its enough to see it thru the trial run. That O'Neill guy clearly up to no good.lol |

| Although the first part of the show was nasty with tons of annoying dialogue, the female character and the action saved the atmosphere. Anime should be like that. |
| homie told her over the phone THE PHONE! i didn't dislike it will see where it goes the hard cut cliffhanger caught me off guard was like damn just gonna end there. only real bad thing is they seem to be pushing quite a bit of fanservice on the loli alien ant saying her name because it's too long |
