 Kadokawa launched an official website for an original sci-fi anime series titled Deca-Dence on Friday. The website revealed the first promotional video, a teaser visual (pictured), and the main staff members.Yuzuru Tachikawa, known for directing Death Parade and both seasons of Mob Psycho 100, is helming the series at animation studio Nut. Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, Inuyashiki) is writing the script. Shinichi Kurita (Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou) is designing the characters based on illustrator pomodorosa's character concept designs. Masahiro Tokuda (Juushinki Pandora) is composing the music. Studio Nut produced its first anime project Youjo Senki (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) in 2017—an adaptation of Carlo Zen's fantasy military light novel of the same title. | Finally a new good looking original anime. You can say what you want about Kadokawa, but at least they produce a lot of good or interesting looking anime. And even better, it's from the incredibly talented director behind Death Parade and the Mob adaptation. |

| Fantastic director, yeah hes got the shitstain of zankyou forever on him but hey that was shitty writing not directing both him and wattanabe did a fantastic job on a horrible script, so lets hope thats not what happens here |

| Oh, this looks good! I saw this announcement on Twitter an hour or two back but didn’t pay much attention to it, but I’m definitely keen to check it out now. Great Director and Character Designer, hopefully the other Departments will deliver too! Definitely keeping an eye on this! |
