For me it would have to be Air Gear because it has a diverse set set of songs and if you don't want to watch the series I would at least recommend listening to the OSTs.
Baseball is the new game.

Even though the show was trash, Beatless had really good OP's and ED's

Other than that: Senryuu Girl, Kaguya-sama, Domestic Girlfriend, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Beyond the Boundary

That's a tough one to beat.

Since you already said it I'll pick FLCL.

Two decades later and it's still as amazing now as ever.

AOT, Naruto, and something a bit less well known from a while back - Claymore, Raison d'etre and Danzai no Hana are both emotive, yearning and totally amazing.

Tokyo Ghoul has the best OP, sadly I felt the rest of the OST isn't as amazing but still good and fitting

and for overall OST Naruto takes first place

Nothing would beat Aria in that regard. EVERY Aria opening and ending is a perfection, and blends seamlessly with the masterpiece of a soundtrack.

in the AMA, the composer of Made in Abyss talked to the people who suggested to make a dope soundtrack, just thinking about it made me shiver, it's about a choir of children singing, little by little they disappear.

Monster

The OP captures the haunting, paranoid side of Monster. The ED is more mellow, but still feels uncomfortable. The OST fully compensates the mellow and disturbing tone of Monster.

Higurashi

The OST is so creepy and eary, it's a large reason why certain scenes are so unnerving, sometimes even scary. The OP captures the haunting feel of Higurashi. The ED? Not so much. The Engrish is awful, and the ED sounds far too mellow and hopeful, which isn't exactly what Higurashi is known for.

I can agree that visually Tokyo Ghoul's OP is great, but the song itself, I disagree. The singer literally sounds like he's crying in the mirror.

As much as how much hate Guilty Crown receives, you can't deny the use of OST is quite phenomenal.

Also also Angel Beats insert song in sad scene.

The music is probably going to end up getting darker as they keep on going down the abyss. (I cant wait for the movie! )

Come on its easily Kimi no na wa.
All the songs were amazing. Though it's technically a movie.
Then I would have to go with:
Naruto
Kill la kill
BnHA
AoT
.
.
.
.

Sorry, not seen a lot of anime.
"You are the result of 4 billion years of evolution. Act like it."
"Why don't you eat make up? Then you can be beautiful on the inside too."

"What's messed up isn't my thinking, what's messed up is this god damn world."

People have already mentioned Made in Abyss and Monogatari Series (the latter is really amazing, because it has sublime combinations many many times over). I'll add Nana, Ghost in the Shell SAC, and Noir as potential candidates, although I'd struggle to pick a real "favourite".

All my top answers are already mentioned (Cowboy Bebop, Made in Abyss, Violet Evergarden, AoT, etc.). So here's one that never really gets credit, Black Clover. Is the story kinda subpar? Yeah. But the OPs and EDs are always great and the OST isn't too shabby either.

Honorable Mention: Death Parade

Well for me it's Overlord [Season 1-3] because they are really good and kinda demonic?

These four also has good ones:
    Kill La Kill
    Sword Art Online [Season 1-3]
    Slow Start
    No Game no Life

I'm sorry if my liking doesn't fit with yours >^<

Zankyou no Terror has my favorite ost overall and the OP is super unique sounding
Blood Blockade Battlefront OP/ED combo is incredible and the ost fits perfectly with the crazy atmosphere of the show.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans is also strong (*ahem*"Raise your flag!")
Kimetsu no Yaiba has been showing promise this season as well

and of course Cowboy Bebop - it's just iconic

Depends just how much weight you put on individual components.

Basilisk had a great OP/ED, but forgettable OST overall.
Noir's OP/ED were forgettable, but the overall OST tremendous.

Blood+ is one that I haven't seen mentioned. Beyond having great music, its 3rd opening is one of the most visually creative I've seen.

Okay I admit: that piano cover sounds absolutely amazing, and I prefer it over Tokyo Ghoul's original opening song.

Respect for calling out Air Gear, all the remix variation of the OP "Chain" are some of my very favorite anime OST, and the OP is of course, sick as well. The ED is kind of bland though, lots of repeated chorus but the instrumental is pretty good.

Not sure if there's one anime with the complete OST/OP/ED package though.. Looking through the comment, I think Mushishi comes the closest tbh, if it's not perfect already. Absolute complete package.

I agree with Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, Konosuba, No Game No Life, Angel Beats!, Mushishi, Tokyo Ghoul, all in my "one hit wonders" list.

Amazingly much good music comes from just three genius level composers.

Monogatari Series, Lucky Star, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, ...
https://myanimelist.net/people/6555/Satoru_Kousaki

Fate/*, Madoka Magica, Garden of Sinners, Sword Art Online (sic!), ...

And the uprising young prodigy who made Made in Abyss and Shield Hero (sic!)

Disclaimer: I am not into j-rock, shounen battle anthems, and string sauce orchester arrangements to hide mediocre compositions. Bring me funk bass, piano or accoustic instruments please. My personal top 20 bangers are linked from my profile, in case somebody likes a that style too. Satoru Kousaki has the most entries in that top 20.
