| After 3 episodes I already love this OP, it’s so good. I know it's different from the usual but it's so good. The city police are the worst, but as that guy said in the last episode, he thought that he was the good guy and he was doing good things by following his king, so I can’t blame the common police for just following orders, only if they can think about what’s really happening and think on their own. So, it makes sense now, that’s why they need Eren! Would be so crazy if Eren “gained” new powers! This season is so good, I’m glad the writer decided to change this part. I feel bad for Cpt.Erwin :/ But he didn’t do it on purpose… Poor Historia, what a shitty childhood she had. I think I will start reading the manga before the next episode xD |

| If the season started off following the manga, we'd had to see Historias backstory in the first episode; which imo would feel really out of place and unfitting for a first episode. Im glad they changed it and shifted the backstory in the 3rd episode. Idk about other people but I sure as hell am enjoying this season 🔥 |

And that’s how Historia started enjoying BDSM. Just kidding… Her smiling after her mom smacked her away was creepy but I kind of get it. She barely had any interaction with her. Then her daddy comes along and slashes her mommy’s throat, witnessing her mom get killed in front of her: she, Eren and Mikasa all have something in common. Except Mikasa’s daddy is also dead. Damn, Hange went off on Sannes and Ralph. She got her revenge. Nice to see Pixys again. Now they’re blaming Erwin and his squad for Reeves’ murder. I think his fat son is too scared to come out and tell them what happened, chances are, they’ll murder him too. I thought Erwin was going to put Reeves on blast, he sorta did but also highlighted some good things he did. My memory of the manga is a bit fuzzy since it’s been a year or so since I last read this part. I’m more up-to-date on the latest chapters. That wanted drawing of Levi though lol |

| Historia was so adorable as a kid <33 that mother should've been hanged the moment she hurt the poor little kid. Hange looks great without her goggles. She should take them off more often. |

| Unbelievably good episode. The whole cutting down the Titans part (although entertaining) was my least favourite part about the previous two seasons. All the political intrigue, whispered theories and conspiracies, and character growth/depth and development (Ervin's father the History teacher and what happened to him for example) IS WHAT I LOVE. Even the way Armin narrates the preview for the next episode - the anticipation, the excitement, the suspense. An emotive and beautiful ending song and the OST sounds even more powerful and haunting than the previous seasons. F**king genius. |
| I get that the government is doing all this shit to maintain peace. Question is, how? How does having a fake royal family help maintain peace? How does disbanding the very regiment that fights titans of which what drove humanity inside the walls in the first place maintain peace? What the fuck are they hiding? Is it gonna be answered in this season at least? And what about that thing that Eren's dad said that's in their basement? That shit has been keeping me up at night for years now fucking hell. |

Doing such an action toward cute little Historia is brutal, but damn Historia seeing her own mother being killed literally in front of her is even more so... This whole time, Kenny has always worked under Rod Reiss? I wonder what he'll do with Historia when they're back 'home' Holy, this is some really interesting revelation! A titan that eat a human which can transform into a titan allows the titan to turn back into a human and with the powers of the human titan they ate?! Damn... Also, the theory that Erwin's father said is quite obviously true. It certainly gives another reason why to nut trust the government. Speaking of which... Who would not perform a coup d'etat after knowing that the current royal family is a fake and is only ruling ultimately fo their own selfish sake? The plot has thickens and it's getting really exciting... |

| This season is on fire! Holy crap. Easily the best Aot season so far in my honest opinion. I don't know if this season is better cuz of the suggestions Isayama-sensei gave or if it was just this good. But in all honesty Aot works better like this for me. The side-character's are finally starting to be more impact-ful and since I can't rely on our god-awful mcs, side charterers need to be top-notch. And so far it is fulfilling. Politics are also very interesting, props to the anime staff and Isayama for being able to pull this tone-shift so smoothly up till now. 9.5/10 |

Idk if Eren said it this ep or not but when he wanted to see what else was out in the world past the ocean I got a feeling like this could be potentially happening in present day on a deserted island (a very large one like maybe Madagascar) and some rich fucks just decided to play god and experiment on humans.The main thing I notice them glossing over is what Erwin's father was suspicious of. Not enough time had passed for everyone to have forgotten naturally. |

| Historia's mom is pretty scummy for someone who had a one-night fling with Rod. She should have been ashamed of herself and take the responsibility of taking care of the person she is half-responsible for her existence. Hange bamboozled Sannes and was the one who snitched on King Fritz all along lmao rekt Erwin revealed the incident regarding his dad's mysterious death and his lifelong objective to avenge him and prove him right. |

| Historia's past was quite tragic..her mother was revolted by her and her father abandoned her.. Also they finally put the reason why Ymir turned back into a human on the plate for us and why Renier was throwing those titans.. Erwin seemed pretty strong willed since he was a kid..the father like others were sadly expunged from existence.. |
