| I don't seek out either, but my tendency to watch stuff with female protags probably has gotten me to watch more yuri than yaoi. Regardless, though, I sorta have anti-shipping goggles, if any, so it's not something I pay attention to. I mean, I'm actually of the opinion that Madoka and Homura aren't romantically interested. |

| I'm not really into rape scenarios and ignoring consent and making that look like a good thing that leads to true love so I haven't been able to find more than a handful of shows in these genres that didn't disgust me. Or rather, considerably less than a handful. |

| Yuri - never tried any neither have I had any directed conversations with yuri fans so I don't know. Most probably won't try it either. Yaoi - fetishized gay hentai written by horny women for horny women, mostly revolves around romanticizing rape, sexual harassment, abusive relationships and Stockholm syndrome. Fans tend to put on a badge of honor claiming to be pro LGBT and calling others who refuse to watch it as "homophobes". They talk as if you are not open minded until and unless you prove it by finding some gay person on the street and force him to take you to his room and watch him have sex with his love interest right in front of you. Fujos also tend to be straight as a stick to the point they can't even stand a character that is the same gender as them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Basically yaoi is gross, will never watch it. |

| I don't really like either in the anime form, but I'm generally okay with watching both out of boredom (if we're also talking about shoujo-ai and shounen-ai that is). When it comes to manga, I like BL and haven't tried GL yet. |

| I like both. Though I like shoujo ai and shounen ai more in anime and yuri and yaoi in manga. Yuri and yaoi anime are pretty much all hentai. In manga, they have a lot more development and there's actual romance and not just straight up porn. |
| I've never really tried a yuri anime, so I can't really say anything on it. Though I kind of don't like it. Give me a year or two though, my tastes are evolving. On the other hand, I do like yaoi. Don't worry I made it out of my fujo phase, that shit was cancer. I read it/watch it casually now and I won't kill you for not liking it. I just don't wanna be mistaken for cancer. |

| I prefer the concept of yuri a lot more, but in my experience truly romantic yuri anime tend to be quite boring and I end up preferring yaoi even though the idea of guys falling in love with each other doesn't initially appeal to me as much. I've seen more yuri than yaoi, though, so I could have just gotten lucky with the few yaoi I have seen. One I completely despised, though, which I haven't done with any yuri anime yet. |

You are just forgetting an important part, most of these shows sales are from fujoshis...(K Project, haikyuu,kuroko) So, wishing for them to disappear is like wishing for the show to disappear as well. Just deal with it, and embrace the new season/movie. |

| I love yuri but there aren't a lot of good yuri anime. When it comes to anime, I find that shows with subtle (or overt) yuri undertones are better than actual yuri/shoujo ai anime. That's why I mostly just stick to yuri manga or visual novels. As for yaoi, well.. I'm straight. I'm not sure if I would even be able to enjoy a shounen ai series. |
