I even discovered some tech-y stuff like you can dodge the third boss's biting attack if you move backwards and place your ship on the top-left corner of the screen. Also, the weakness of the final boss lies in its eyes! |

This was ether the first game i played or the first i dedicated time on. I am not sure if i finished it or if it had an ending at all(Probably not. Most Atari games back then was about high scores). One of the best games the Atari 2600 had really.  The first game i can remember that i finished for certain was an F1 game on Ms-Dos that i won a championship season on. I got this old PC for free from a relative that was just gonna throw it away as junk and it had that game installed. The whole thing looked quite primitive(well it was ON a PC that was taking the huge floppy disks with a hole in the middle, what did you expect) with green sprite graphics in the color of old MS-DOS green letters in dark background. the way to drive was by having a dot on the image of the steering wheel and that went left and right and that is how you turned etc. I looked on Youtube but just can't find any video of it. I only find Accolade Grand Prix that is kind of similar but has a lot more graphics and colors that the one i had didn't. Maybe it is that game but mine didn't have the colors because my Pc was weak or something. If anyone knows it and can tell me the title it will help because i can't remember. Yeah looking at this version is quite closer to what i played(although mine was even more colorless, lol shitty PC) must be this: Anyway after that is the classic Mario Bros on my NES. |
