| So, as it's nearing the end of the year, I'm sure most of you have watched one or two anime series that topped every other anime during this year, and I'm curious of which it was. Mine was definitely Garo: Vanishing Line. While the fall season was fairly weak with bringing us decent anime, this one was my absolute favorite and probably the best I've seen all year. What are yours? EDIT: If you haven't already mentioned it, do you have any favourite movie(s) that came out this year? |

| No doubt! The second season of Sangatsu no Lion is the best anime this year. It is definitely my favorite and I can relate myself too much into it. One of the most well-adapted anime by Shaft. |

| This is a tough one, there have been loads of really good shows this year, but nothing truly outstanding. Maybe the second season of 3-gatsu no Lion. But I could quite happily say Houseki no Kuni, Urahara, Made in Abyss, Gamers, Rakugo second season, Saekano second season, Maid Dragon, Demi-chan or Kuzu no Honkai. |

I guess I'll go for Kobayashi. Though, I plan to pick up some anime by the end of the year after finishing some of my anime that are finished, and old. |

| @Ventus_S Check better. You'll see Mushishi, Kaiji, Berserk, Monster, Ashita no Joe, Jojo, Kokou no Hito, Blame!, Oyasumi Punpun high in there. I ironically put To Love-Ru, Sekirei, and Monster Musume high because my love for those 3 are high. And just check my goddamn favorite list. Edit: Yes, I just have a certain bias for those 3 because they helped me through rough times. |

| Boku no hero academia second season was great! Other than that Food wars! season 3. Pingu in the city is my favorite( No joke) since I love how deep they can go into a story without saying a word. |

| Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen to me is beyond uncontested in this regard. It is such a fantastic show, with marvelous directing, equally fantastic narrative and characters, and easily some of the loveliest moments I have ever witness in anime. Episodes 4, 7, 11, and 12 are the best episodes of the year and to be honest, the final 2 episodes nearly made me cry tears of nostalgia and joy. I love this show so much that noting really comes close for me this year. I'll save the worst for another time... |

| Best non sequels: Fate/Apocrypha, Inuyashiki, Youjo Senki, Princess Principal and Shoukoku no Altair Best sequels: Attack on Titan S2, Hero academia 2, Berserk 2nd Season Best harem/cute girl anime: Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records, Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism and UQ Holder! Most underrated anime: Sakurada Reset, Berserk 2nd Season, Black Clover, Code:Realize: Sousei no Himegimi and Ousama Game and Shoukoku no Altair Most overrated and trash anime: Tsurezure Children, Gamers and most of the shows that similar to these shits. No idea what people like about these shows Garo: Vanishing Line has the potential to be one of the best in this season, but it hard to tell when we are still in 1st half of the show. |

If the anime community have a mind set like that and hate on all new anime , then say goodbye to the anime industry. It shonen all of them a rip-off of Goku so no reason to hate. The first 4 episode is bad but I seen worse and after that is not that bad. Hey if you dont like Asta screaming at you go watch dub . And with the new PS4 game coming next year , I felt the hate is just dumb as all shonen has anime troopes that are all the same like Hero Academia and Naruto. |

| This year has been surprisingly good in my eyes (Maid Dragon, Made in Abyss), even not counting the sequels (Konosuba 2, Shouwa Rakugo 2, ecc..). But right now, i have to admit that Houseki no Kuni is taking the top spot even from an anime-only prospective like mine. |

| Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is definitely my favorite of the past few years. I’d say decade but Gurren Lagann was made 10 years ago so it barely edges out Dragon Maid for best of the decade. Honorable mention to Girls Last Tour. Definitely the biggest suprise of the year in terms of enjoyment |

| Yoru wa Mijikashi Arukeyo Otome - The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl (ο½γ»ωγ»´)” I'm freaking Biased at this point, this year's 2017, Tomihiko Morimi and Masaaki Yuasa combo has the best Anime. (οΎοΎβ½οΎ)οΎ It's freaking beautiful filled with magical realism and philosophical moments, It has three plots in this movie alone, all are connected and everything is deep, it's my favorite Movie this 2017 surpassing every anime that I've watched, or even the Live Action TV Series and Movies that I've seen this year. (ββΏβ) Though it's recommended to watch Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei - The Tatami Galaxy first, they are shared universe. |
