| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yes! Alice is back :D So glad to see her again. The season didn't take long to showcase Souma's cooking again. I find the reactions (especially from Megumi) to be rather amusing:  Good episode, felt more like a buildup but it's getting me excited for more especially with the Elite 10 showing up. Lol, that singing. |

| lol that part with the school anthem haha. I'm glad they're doing this arc though, it gives viewers more information on Chinese food outside of the "ginger beef" and "sweet and sour pork" bs. |

| That was a really nice school anthem...And it was funny how everyone but Souma knew the words to it xDD Overall, this was pretty much setup and planning for the Moon Festival to start and it was pretty good...Looking forward to seeing Alice and Hayama's stall most of all but at the same time, I'm equally hyped for Souma's But god bless Megumi....That was too sweet of her to want to help Souma succeed no matter what, that's wifey material/goals right there |
| They added some stuffs like Alice also there tasting Souma's dish and Arato helping Souma with his dish (those werent in the manga), not that Im complaining, I liked the add. |

| Great episode as always. Lot of fun and comedic moments as well. Megumi was so sweet when she said she wanted to help Soma. <3 Alice, Kuro and Hayama. That's one heck of a trio right there. xD Hilarious how Alice manipulated Jun. xD That moment when everyone's singing the school anthem and you don't know it, Soma. XDDD Next episode should be lit. |

| Ashita no Joe homage spotted :P Very fun episode again. Poor Tadokoro, sacrificing herself for Souma,she's so adorable. And the trio of Alice,Kurokiba and Hayama is such a treat to watch. Alice giving both guys a hard time xD After all the build up, next week it's going to get serious,can't wait to see the festival animated and in color,this will be great. |

| Megumi is just too adorable. Her passion to help Soma is admirable, especially since she was taste-testing Soma's Mapo Tofu dishes. Just like in the manga, seeing Megumi's mouth unleashing a big flame that can rival Charizard's Flamethrower is really amusing. XD And poor Soma was the only student in the entire school that didn't know the words to the school anthem. Satoshi's singing was certainly passionate though. =) Overall, I liked the pacing for this episode better than episode 1. I'm looking forward to seeing how Soma and Megumi gets on against Kuga's massive restaurant over the next set of episodes. =D |

| Megumi and Hojo are nice together, seems like they have a great friendship going :D Also Hisako definitely doesn't attempt to avoid Souma's ask for help, she has respect for him at this point i'd say. These little bits of character development are always nice to see. Other than that, the taste testing from Megumi and Souma was hilarious xD After credit scene was HYPE with the music and their first customers! |
| Mostly a setup episode but now the festival has officially begun. It should be interesting to see how Souma's simple vendor stand will hold up against Kuga's giant restaurant. |

| Those delicious chinese food! I noticed a few changes from the manga like Alice tagging along with Erina and Hisako for taste testing not that I'm complaining. Funny on seeing Souma being only student who doesn't know the school anthem. |

| Another great one. Megumi really is a great character, she's so sweet and selfless. Erina noticing that even Hisako likes Soma. Nice. Alice is always a lot of fun, she connived her way into the festival which was great. So Soma decided to go with buns on the first day (I assume the food changes for each day). I'm really looking forward to how Soma tackles this, especially with his dinky stand. Soma not knowing the school anthem was incredibly funny. |

| I didn't knew that thing about spicy food. You really learn something new every day. The comparisson between Kuga's spectacular temple and Souma's... street shop it's hilarious. I love how Souma manages to be optimistic even with such disadventage. I wonder how he will compete against Kuga. So far, it seems he is having some success. Alice trolling Hayama was priceless. I like too how Hisako has really open to Souma after the whole Stagiare thing. |

| Good thing this episode was better than the first one; I might have dropped if it stayed that bad. The animation was way better in this episode than previous ones, but I still can't get over the fact that there practically isn't a single damn still frame in both the entire episode. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue, because its just weird and distracting. |

I can save you all a bunch of hours of your life... he wins some ridiculous cooking competitions written by someone who has obviously never even been in a kitchen in their entire life or even watched a cooking show. Also people's cloths explode off of them as they have orgasms from putting food in their mouths which are more sensitive than a Bene Gesserit's. I gave the first season a pass because it was an okay origin story and you were introduced to the school and characters, but this doesn't have any of that, it's just a bunch of stupidity. |
