| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting, we got to see Karna getting some action this episode. Sieg vs Mordred is very intense and I love the way they captured both characters' movements and expressions. Decent chereography as well. Ruler got involved in his conflict as expected. Tbh, I like the style they're going with the battles so far from the show. Both sides are getting their moments but Karna stood out a lot this episode compared to the others imo. Never underestimate Darnic either. |

| I must say this adaptation is having several action and is very entertaining. The fight between Mordred and Sieg was good and the next events were good. I am confident that they will continue with a great progression in the next episodes. |

| HYPE for next episode, can't wait for , and after that the . The action was good this episode, even tho once they got into the Hanging Gardens suddenly every fight seemed a bit too slow. But it was cool nonetheless. Karna and Vlad did not disappoint, even tho the Spartacus parts could've been better imho. Well, RIP now |

| Arguably the best part of Apo is being animated.The last couple of episodes were pretty good. Karna was about to use his NP for the first time and then his master calls him back.Such a cockblock. |

| Nice episode. It was kinda centered on Kurolancer. I though that the Archers were going to be at a dissadvantage in a closed space but it doesn't seem like it. (I think that the people making my subs still believe that Astolfo is a girl and is hilarious) |

I though that the Archers were going to be at a dissadvantage in a closed space but it doesn't seem like it. Usually yes but Chiron is the guy that taught guys like Achilles and Hercules how to fight, so regardless of class he retains some of his close-combat expertise, notably in pankration. Also being the teacher allows him predict his student Achille's attacks better. |
| That fight of Vlad vs Karna (before the Black Faction entered into the Hanging Gardens) have to be the best fight of the series so far, at least in the visual aspect. Both Lancers are awesome, too bad Karna had the leave the battlefield before having the chance to use his NP. And Spartacus is gone, and with him the Berserker Class in this war is done for good. This has to be one of the weirdest representations of his figure in fiction. When one thinks in Spartacus, one thinks of a brave man fighting for the freedom of those who are oppresed, whereas in this he, is a dumb idiot who turns into a Resident Evil boss. The Berserkers from previous entries were intimidating, but I never found them creepy, Spartacus on the other hand... Also, Jeanne's Luminosité Eternelle is sure a powerful defense, tanking such powerful explosion. Too bad it has it limits (according to the TM wiki). Cannot wait to see that NP next episode. |

| Once again, another good episode. The fight between Vlad vs Karna was intense. Seems like Vlad can't fight with his full potential in his own territory and he doesn't want to use his noble phantasms, which makes me curious to find out in the next episode. He was quite irritated about the way he is potrayed as 'Vlad the Impaler'. Mordred and Sieg was great with Mordred expressions being scary. Astolfo is such an easy going character. Jeanne's smile is angelic. <3 If she can smile in every episode I will be satisfied. |

| That one Karna shot and how he got out of the situation with Vlad on the field was sublime! Loved that one. And damn, he teased a Noble Phantasm but didn't use it yet. Let me just wild guess, Vlad would have been mincemeat if Karna used one. Jeanne's NP blocking the NP of Spartacus was also something nice to look at. Next episode should be great seeing that Darnic is forced to command Vlad for his NP, i'm interested what's gonna happen. |

Looks like Spartacus is gone, he seemed like a waste of time tbh so I'm kind of happy about that. Vlad is ashamed of his NP but it looks like Darnic is going to force him to use it in the next episode. That should be great to see. |

Jeanne, Atalanta, Semiramis and Mordred all in one episode is enough for me. <3 XD Karna vs Vlad's fight was awesome, If Karna had actually pulled of his NP I wonder if Vlad might have actually been taken out. Morded slicing up Spartacus was awesome. Jeanne using her NP was absolutely amazing and that shot of her with weapon on the ground, flag flying and standing atop the cliff like debris was absolutely stunning. Jeanne ftw. <3 I like how the red faction moved over the black castle and put the latter on defense which also restricted Vlad's power. Really interested in what his NP is gonna be. |

I don't fully know how this part with Vlad plays out, but it was easy to predict that Darnic would use his command seal to make it happen (after reading weeks ago that Vlad hate his NP). Well a lot of stuff in this series has been easy to predict, but that's besides the point :v RIP Spartacus. I will miss your rambling |

| I think the only reason Black faction is alive is because they have the Grail in their castle otherwise, Karna can just nuke them all from the Hanging Garden and there's nothing they can do about it. |

So, it will better explained later on. Shirou hinted at it by asking Semiramis if she made the changes he required her for the Gardens iirc |

Well, the most famous thing about the guy is because of his vampire portrayal, it kinda makes sense if he had something to reflect that. That's exactly why I liked that they make him utterly hate his vampire Dracula portrayal, going as far as making his wish to the grail is just to clean his Dracula legends. |

| The banner fly once again for the good of the people, maybe she is a purest waifu in all times. Talk about double standards here. Everyone likes Mordred because she's cute girl, but if she was a male that fans will probably find that she is just another dense, screaming, shounen character that want to kill everyone and everything. But she is MOE so it can be forgivable. Also if im not mistaken the legend of dracula was activated when Vlad was still on land. | Karna and Vlad fight didn't disappoint guessing that Vlad isn't in Romania anymore. Spartacus fight was really good but confused how he grew two dragon heads. Next episode should be good with Vlad using his np against Karna. |
| Karna vs Vlad is still going strong and is still awesome. Sieg getting saved by everything and everyone. Spartacus was the bomb this episode. RIP you weird self-destructing mutant creature thing. So Spartacus is about to blow and Sieg can't move. If you're Astolfo what do you do: A) Carry Sieg and ride away into the sunset or B) Scream like a child about how you don't want to leave Sieg and there's nothing you can do to help him Jeanne's NP was really nice tho. |
| Well, Atalanta appeared briefly, only to 'give' Spartacus to Jeanne... And then gone... Noo.... At least Ata still alive XD. The episode overall is very good, but then Spartacus should be portrayed better... Mordred about to slash down both Astolfo and Sieg, before Spartacus 'saved' them XD. From what i seen, what i want now is Jeanne's indestructible flag, and Atalanta XD. By the way, bit off topic but... Yesterday i went to an anime fair and guess... Cosplayer playing Astolfo there XD. I dont take a photo though, and funny thing is, it is cosplayed by a girl. |

The standard is from one to three (even Arturia in FSN, counting Avalon, has two), but some can have more and Gilgamesh has... all of them kinda. For example, Karna has three Noble Phantasms and Achilles four iirc. |

| The fight between Vlad and Karna was impressive. The animation for the fight itself was pretty good too. It's a shame that Karna was called back just as he was about to use his noble phantasm. =( Jeanne did an excellent job at using her noble phantasm to protect Sieg and Astolfo from Spartacus' noble phantasm, which was a freaking huge purple laser. Her smile she gave to Sieg just before she departed was really sweet. =) I do want to see Vlad's other noble phantasm though, since he really was adamant that he doesn't want to use it at all. It looks like Darnic has other ideas though, so I'm interested t see what happens next with his plan. Great episode overall. =) |

Or is it already "filled up" so to say? It absorbs and stores mana from the leylines before using it. It's the same reason for why the HGW in Fuyuki is every 60 years or so, and the reason why it took Darnic that much to prepare for the Great War here in Apocrypha. So, once it's "filled" and ready to summon Servants and open the path to the Root, it doesn't need to stay connected to the leylines. If forcefully removed from the ground it could spill out some of the accumulated mana tho, and without being connected to leylines it could not restore it |

| Pretty much everything was already mentioned and I agree that this episode was very good in terms of action. Also glad that Spartacus got wrecked, was honestly annoyed by him. |
