----------------------------------------
Oo, this episode got interesting with the storytelling about Kei's past.

It shows the viewer when Kei saw an ability being used in Sakurada. No wonder he got interested in investigating cases that involves supernatural abilities. I think it's interesting to also note that Kei developed his own abilities around that time. Good way for the show to showcase Kei in his story. I think this episode gave more insight on Kei's motivation to further his ambitions in the present timeline. Not that I'm surprised but his personality seems to be the same back then as now.

Back to where he last talked to "Witch".

Trying the old man's and the two girls' powers, to see if that girl would be revived?

Main guy when he just arrived and met a man.

He's then being curious and investigating about the power, including the memory change.

Other members of association found him, too. He was restricted to get out and everyone outside would forget about him.

Knowing about the future? She already left a message to main guy's friend for two years later.

To get her out from the photo? That reminds reset girl for that little girl she helped when she was junior high. She's "alive" now, which she expected herself.

Reset girl and cat girl next.

I'm quite curious of what Sumire meant with "which one will you choose" at the end of the episode... this anime is getting better and better!

This was highly, highly intriguing and got me glued to the screen. Best episode so far.

How they brought back Sumire was insane, again combination of abilities here are dope. She knew beforehand of course.

Why did she have to die? That's the million dollar question now, eh?

Got to know more of Kei's past. He was impressed when he saw the abilities in Sakurada. He also discovered his own ability there. Looks like he managed to see Sumire again. Combining abilities was smart.

And here I thought Kei won't be needing another Soma-involved story. Oh well.
So young Kei already "sense" about the Reset, but yet know about who done that?. And now he wants to do something to bring Soma back to life. And yup, he did it.

Cant help but to be excited like a little kid seeing soma is back to life.

Her words always had deeper meanin in it and Yuuki Aoi always nailed it perfectly. I'm in love with both of them right now lol

It also took us 10 episodes up to this point that i felt like riding a giant plot so good job to the screenwriter for this. They didnt just let Kei met others for nothing, did they?

Well, that was very interesting, how everyone put their abilities to use. That "composition" didn't occur to me.

And even though Soma is back, there is still the mystery about the reason for her death.

We also got to know more about Keis past, more precisely the day he arrived at Sakurada. Back then he was saved by a Reset.

Its kind of hard to guess since some of her dialogs from ep1&2 are just now starting to make sense but if i want to go for a wild guess, i say its about a choice that Kei has to make in the end of the series and its going to be a big one, something like saving everyone or removing all the abilities in Sakurada or giving ability to everyone.
My assumption is that its going to cost soma's life and "Im sure the choice you make will be correct" is for that part.

Anyway pretty good episode, i was hoping for the full explanation but who am i kidding, we still got a long way ahead of us.

That was an interesting episode. Loved it.

So, Sumire was revived. This episode produced lots of questions but the most important being why did she die??

Kei showed some emotions at the beginning with those tears.

When she asked Kei "which one did you want to meet?" what she mean't was "Who do you want to meet the Fake (Zen) or the Real (Gizen) me?" after that she said "I'm sure you will make the right choice" meaning she already knew what he was going to say and that he was going to be correct, what ever answer came out of his mouth that's what she was. At least that's my take on it

Fantastic episode, very clever use of 4 abilities combined to bring Sumire back to life.

Interesting to learn that Kei was experiencing random resets since he arrived at Sakurada. Which is a bit confusing, since he met Haruki at least a year or two after arriving. If I were him I'd wonder who the hell is causing the resets and causing me so much trouble at random intervals and would want to contact her quickly.

Also, I don't know If everyone is forbidden from posting anything regarding their abilities on the internet or contacting people in the outside world about them. Mechanically, I'd like to know how this is prevented and how mass immigration isn't a problem. Seems like if word got out about this town giving all residents super powers then there would be tons of tourism. (It's not like Kei had any trouble getting into the town, just took a random train ride).

Well, it happened, Sumire is back. I thought it would be a red herring, but nope, she is back amongst the living. It's good to see some of Kei's backstory come to the forefront and the constant exposition is actually justified here. The only downsize is that the episode gives the impression that the plot is move at a glacial pace. Hopefully, this improvement will inject some much-needed life into the show.

This really surprised me because I always wondered how they would bring Sumire back, and so to see how they did it, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed

Part of me feels like Kei is in love with her but I dunno....I wouldn't mind those two together but I love him with Misora too so hopefully this choice that Sumire talked about isn't relating to chosing between them

I was spoiled about why she killed herself in week 1 but thankfully I don't remember it at all lol so I'm looking forward to being surprised by it all

Well this is just my theory but, I think it's about the love triangle. The message to herself 2 years later might be "she chose Haruki" and the reason for her suicide might be bcoz she noticed Kei fell for Haruki and chose reading an LN over her inviting him to see the sunset Lol

Fantastic episode, by far and away the best this show has managed so far. Everything from the previous episodes coming nicely together all as Soma planned, not least in terms of Kei meeting all the ability users to make her revival possible, but also in terms of the connection to the various philosophical points brought up throughout the show. As for her question to Kei at the end, if we assume it's referring to the real or fake Soma, I'm personally hoping it's the real one that they've brought back, although it isn't exactly clear what that will mean either way. Still, well done to this show for pulling off such a good episode; here's hoping for more in the future.

They used the picture and Murases ability with Youske's and Haruki's to go back to a time where Sasano's
ability was never activated. So basically they brought the girl from the picture to reality. Regarding whether
or not she's real is still unclear

it is kinda interesting and has potential to be great later (because of the reset, but so far was a little boring and most interactions are just "lifeless", they don't raise voice, they barely make jokes, they don't do anything other than just normal talk...
also seasonal scores, specially the long ones, are always changing, depending on what happened on last episode, so it will probably go up later

anyway i'll admit, sumire is kinda cute in this episode lol and ofc all the abilities combined was also nice to see

thats what makes the characters and their interaction so interesting to me. its something i very rarely see in anime (also overall in shows). i didnt thought it was boring at any point. the plans they make depending on their abilities are cool and all, but that doesnt make the show.

That darn lot of foreshadowing done in the earlier episodes tho *thumbs up*

All those previous strange philosophies and slow-paced talking scenes coming back to mind: the swampman paradox from Kei (I think), whether one could love a person who turns into a stone (from Witch), the earliest Android question from Soma, etc. This is getting interesting; all those were very helpful for understanding the story.

Soma's a bit cunning at the very end (or should we say potential Soma swampman #1?): if she really does not tell us at the end, it would basically mean to let Kei decide whether Soma's still actually alive, and from all the previous foreshadowing, I tend to think the original copy of the entity Soma Sumire has already died. It's also quite cruel, considering the fact that only Kei was there then to listen to her, and only he remembers so far. If so even if Soma is a swampman copy of the original only Kei could potentially know

The whole "who's the robot?" part of the plot is what drives all the "lifeless" interactions. If you watched until now without realizing it, then no wonder why it was "a little boring" for you.
- Haruki is like that because she closed her heart to everything in the past and only now is starting to get the hang of human interactions (she was the first candidate to be the robot, but eventually showed her true emotions, and I'm sure she will show more in the future).
- Kei was always a strong candidate to be the robot, due to his methodic way of solving things, but that's just a facade built upon his ability to remember everything (which makes it impossible to forget both the good and the bad things).
- Sumire always has that fake smile on her face, but I've never really thought of her as a candidate to be the robot until they pointed it out in this episode.
They kinda made a game of guessing, with the hints being released each episode, until we forgot about the game itself, to then give the answer in this episode.

This is just a wild guess.

First, she planned all of this just to "revive" herself. First question: Which "Soma" that was "revived"? Was it Soma herself or just a swampman?

Next, she has the ability to know ALL about the future, which means she knows what'll happen to everyone and everything including her own fate. Now, the second question: Does "Soma" Soma's fate's different with the swampman? If it is, then it means that she wants to "liberate" herself from some sort of inevitable fate by "reviving" herself into the swampman which leads to the third question: What kind of fate she wants to be liberated from? Is it something big? Or just cliched little thing?

Highly speculative but,
It's curious if the things brought from the pictures remain in that state for the current timeline!!!
It would have been great foreshadowing if the petal was shown to wither away or not after on.
If the things are not effected by the real world timeline,it would suggest that soma could be the same INDEFINITELY.
[SOMA OBTAINED TROPHY:immortality+future sight]
The episode was best so far as many questions were answered.
Hope to see the future episode.
And,the theory is just a speculation but wonder if it was just a resurrection for Soma!

I think the plot is great. So,it deserves more.
But,the problem lies a little with execution part.
They took a really minimal approach toward animation and screenplay.
Dialogue are fine but sometimes don't match with animation panel.
The voice acting and animation are a bit off compared to what the series actually deserves.

Interesting episode and the story is getting pretty interesting.

This episode help reinforce the belief that Souma would somehow return. The insight into Kei's past and specifically his reactions on arriving at Sakurada and seeing his first ability user was pretty interesting. As was how he and the bureau actually met. It was nice seeing Kei is determined to bring Souma back to life though. Its also interesting to see that Kei's abilities too were gained upon entering Sakurada and rather not gained as he grew up in the town. It was actually pretty surprising that Kei actually agreed to signing that contract that allowed him to stay in Sakurada while also allowing the bureau to purchase his past and have everyone outside of the town including his parents forget about him. The combo of the past and present scenes in felt were pretty well done and did well to push the story along. In the present in seems that Kei is starting to move forward with his plan but in doing so he has to do so alone. While to be expected as his personality means that he wound't want to risk Haruki its kinda sad as well.

The revelation that Souma actually had the power of foretelling though hinted before was an interesting fact. So it is Kei's belief that everything thats happened so far has been foretold by her already. That and the fact that she also invented the rumor of the McGuffin and thus orchestrating all the meetings that Kei and Haruki have had really tells you how powerful her ability must be. To think all of this was created from a rumor that's main purpose was to gather ability users for one purpose which is to revive Souma from the dead. That was one hell of a prop that the rock was lol. Though i wonder whether the answer that is received will be a happy one or a sad one. Still the one thing thats bothering me is that if Souma could have predicted that much with her ability surely she would have also been able to predict her own death as well. Despite the fact that Kei should be happy that he's able to bring Souma back to life its nice to see that he still retains his cautiousness though. Bringing someone back from the dead is unlike anything thats been done before after all. With such a powerful ability Souma sadly will never be able to have a happy and normal life. The photo ability though has to be one of the most amazing abilities on the show though. I was amazed that the plan actually did work but i guess this was all part of Souma's plan. Souma and Kei will have a ton to talk about since its been two years since they talked. Hmm i miss the interactions that Kei and Souma had. Hmm using the voice message that you left two years ago to be delivered now to confirm whether the souma here is real or not is a interesting idea. But man i have to say Souma's plan was a pretty long and well though out one that only she with her ability can pull off. Still this was such a surprising twist though. And things are getting real interesting with the story as well.

Hmm well with their chief asset thats used for foretelling the future gone i would say that the bureau is now less powerful. Still it is as the witch says that they will now hate Kei and his friends. Hmm but to think that Kei would be involved in something big that will involve her successor though. Hmm though Kei should be happy that he will be able to meet Souma again i can see why he's wary though. I think Kei's reaction to this news was best summed up with his tearful laugh as he walked back home. Hmm taking advantage of both Haruki and Youka's reset ability to get that petal from the photo eh. Hmm so Kei plans to use the reset ability to bring Souma back to life eh. To think that the first time that Kei experienced the reset ability was before he entered the town itself though. Hmm the first ability user that Kei met at the station had a most interesting and useful ability. So that was the first ability that Kei saw then eh. Well to be honest if this town's existence was revealed to the world then all sorts of countries would try to kidnap the ability users to experiment on them in an effort to recreate their powers for their own goals. But in the case of Sakurada im glad that there is a bit of a safety measure in that once you leave the town all your powers will be gone as well. Hmm so Kei also gained his ability by entering Sakurada eh. Hmm just as expected the bureau sure acted fast in dispatching agents to find Kei as he discovered his ability. Hmm so the woman's code name is Sakuin which essentially means Index eh. Considering her role in documenting ability users i think its quite appropriate.

Kei was surprisingly understanding for someone so young at that time though something that surprised even Sakurin i see. Hmm so as a result of his special ability The Bureau ended up signing a contract with Kei that guaranteed his life in Sakurada on the condition that Kei stay in Sakurada eh. Hmm to think that the Bureau had the financial power to purchase someone's past though. Hmm so even before her death there were indications that something was wrong with Souma eh.
