| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was oddly strange and Natsume gets himself involved in a case with a youkai that I honestly found creepy. Nyanko manages to subdue the being while Natsume also tries to get ahold of the mysterious mask object. A somewhat chilling episode but it's also interesting that Natsume is able to connect with the events together. |

| Mainly to help clean up the ryokan. Everyone there is very nostalgic about meeting that boy with reikan again and very nice. It's too coincident that the old lady have 4 candies. 5 became 6 customers after seeing lingering youkai. The old lady, who turns out to be the youkai works at the shrine for a long time and searches for the mask for the festival. The thief was the youkai mother... Natsume fell from trying to protect the mask and the youkai caught up. Feeling of wanting her to see his friend. Two exorcists next. |

| This episode was all about friendship which was nice. And we had a very nice Youkai this time who was very kind in helping out tho a bit scary at times. |

| Aw, it was really sweet seeing Ito-san so attached to Tanuma <'33 I'm glad she got to stay. That last part where Tanuma talks to Natsume was very sweet, too. Young Natori and Matoba for next episode, I'm excited! |

| Natsume's a true friend willing to keep a secret that would hurt tanuma if he ever found out. episode was eerie and creepy although as usual always worth watching. |

| I really enjoy episodes with Tanuma in them! He connects so well with Natsume and that just makes me really happy :) I'm glad Natsume was able to convince Ito-san to stay, but that ending with Tanuma admitting she may be a youkai made me a little sad, especially when Natsume semi frowned. |
| One fantastic episode. What I liked the most was the focus on Tanuma. I thought the little girl was the thief but it turns out it was the that old lady who I thought was pretty weird. That catch by Nyanko, transforming into his true form and pinning her down. At least Natsume was able to go to the festival with the group. Do agree, bittersweet ending since Natsume has to live with that secret but I feel like that guilt is lessened since Tanuma is beginning to understand more about youkai and says that he has a hunch that Ito-san may be a youkai. |

| One of these episode I like/prefer. A bit sad things (can't tell Tanuma that the old lady is a youkai watching over him) mixed with happy things (that she actually is nice and watching over him). And you can feel that sometimes it isn't easy for Natsume but at the end he can accept the situation. I always liked such (simlar) episodes most. |

| Overall I didn't like this episode all that much but I still loved the ending. |
| It seems like not only Natsume, but both he and Tanuma didn't have any friends when they were younger. I'm glad it's changed, no one should be alone all their lives. Natsume acted very maturely promising Ito-san that he wouldn't tell anyone about her secret. And I don't think Tanuma was the only reason here. Nyanko-sensei being stuck was the best scene XD |

| Lovely yet sad episode again. Tanuma's opinion about Ito-san wouldn't change even if he came to know about Ito-san's true identity. But he would definitely become sad because he knows the paths of human and youkai are not meant to be crossed. Tanuma is such a great friend. He makes me feel so happy for Natsume, to have found such a wonderful friend. The sloppy art and animation make their glorious return. You can tell that the studio is understaffed. |

| Tanuma and Ito-san bears a nice relationship. I hope that Ito-san stayed with them after the festival. |

| Some Yokai can definitely be creepy. I'm waiting to see one stronger than Madara, that would be interesting to see. |

| When the light bursts from Ito and Natsume faints, Tanuma sensed the power of the light right? It wasn't because Natsume fainted? I was a little confused there bc he said "Natsume..." right after. I guess he pieced the two together. An episode focused on Tanuma is always nice. |
| Really awkward the end of the episode. The narration has the merit of being emotional and knowing to catch two pigeons with a bean. Every episode of this series is always good, in many ways. |
