| I'm truly loving Gappy so far. He's an amazing blend of Jotaro's stoicism in battle, DiU's Josuke's dorky character, and a little bit of the ruthlessness from the original Kira in the fact he's not afraid to actually finish off his foes. |

| So was Tamaki a rock human too after all? I don't think this was ever explicitly stated so far. For some reason I had assumed he was a normal human, I don't even know why. lol actually thought that was Jolyne there. Guess it's Norisuke's wife, huh? It's definitely Norisuke's wife, she was part of the family tree. I have to admit I never gave a second thought about where she might be. I kinda expected her to be long dead or something. |
| Here is my quick review on it. Kaato eyes are pretty interesting. It may be a hint that shes, like Gappy, is the result of a fusion. |

| Good god, those last 2 chapters were really intense. Damo finally goes down in some of the most brutal way ever seen in Jojo. Jobin will probably end up as the main antagonist of the series seeing as he has some connection with the Rock Men. It kinda feels like we are slowly entering the climax of the series. 5/5 |

| Re-reading, this was easily the best arc of all of Jojolion. Both the flashbacks and the fight in the present. |
| I really thought that Norisuke would die here. Also, how did his cut hands get back (as well as Josuke's liver)? Did he "return" the parts back with his stand? Just like the original Josefumi did with the branches. |
| So the fight is finally over. I liked it. Many bizarre moments and original ideas were presented during turn right itself and during flashbacks of Kira and Kujo. In other words, it was an awesome arc. I liked that Stone Ocean reference. Anyway, can this woman in the end be really Norisuke's wife? She has quite complicated past, lol. It's cool that Norisuke survived Damo's attack. There were moments in which I seriously thought that Norisuke might not survive it. |

| Yeah, I really thought Norisuke wasn't going to make it. I find it weird that his limbs just returned to him though. Apparantly everything just re-attaches once the stand user does, I guess. Anyway, Norisuke's wife finally made an appearance! Loved the Stone Ocean reference. She does seem to have a stand that has to do with cards. And I'm not gonna lie - I totally forgot for a while about Jobin being involved with the rock people too. Apparantly the JoJo in this part is Josefumi after all. It looked like he sacrificed himself for Kira, but everyone calls him Josefumi and he views himself as Josefumi too, so... yeah. |
| I'd agree that this Damo arc was the strongest of the series thus far, this chapter here was quite excellent. I love how brutal Hato was here with skewering Damo, all while crying too, poor girl. Josefumi's finishing him off was bad-ass too. The series is going in an interesting direction moving forward, it seems clear that all the Rock people are finished, so I guess that makes Jobin the big bad? Either way, plot-wise, he or Caato are definitely the most interesting element left. *Edit* Just noticed, I'm officially half way through the series now. It certainly doesn't feel like there's that much more left to this story, interesting to see where it all goes from here. |

| I don't think Jobin is or will be an antagonist this is what I think is happening so far: The rock human did something to the higashikata family and cause the rock disease but that was ages ago and no one from the higashikata family knows this but somehow Kaato found the connection and that's how Jobin was cured without the parents sacrifice thing. however her finding the connection opposed danger to the rock human so they did something to lock her in prison. she then told Jobin (and maybe Norisuke too but i doubt it) but Jobin didn't go after them but made a deal instead. that's why he was angry when he saw jouske killing damo (not angry that Jouske killed Damo but angry that Jouske killed Damo in front of his house and maybe ruined the deal he made) |
| Excellent arc, definitely the part's best so far. I understand the need to withhold a lot of this information beforehand, but I wish the part had displayed this level of drive before. |

| @Sauruseta Did you read ahead probably not nice theory it might be true but I have a strong suspicion Jobin is the antagonist. There's no reason for him to fully support or care about the rock people otherwise. WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT hold on. I just realized that back 20 chapters ago the first rock man the architect guy Yotsuyu he said one of the family members will betray Josuke it has to be Jobin. |

| I really wish Araki gave Josuke his memories back I mean we saw it but I understand why part 8 is so damn controversial the whole contrived amnesia plot is annoying as shit. Damo is so goddamn annoying and Norisuke's wife spent 15 years in prison? Equivalent exchange must be Araki watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood that lent him this idea. |
