| The end comes to everyone, and even Hotaru takes his leave from us in the manner best suited to her, giving us an episode full of craziness seasoned with a bit of romance. | Overall a bretty funny show, incredibly chill and kind of hit and miss at times. But I love even the fanservice and lo-fi comedy in these kind of things (I absolutely loved that cheesy ED) which made 60% of the show tbh because I personally love this kind of not particularly original slice of life anime. Although there was a good 40% of approximately well-written comedy |
| Coconuts' and Kou's bromance has gone underappreciated. a nice finale to a nice show. There were very few "laugh out loud" moments for a pure comedy series, and Dagashi Kashi had the unfortunate fate of being a gag anime (that's really all this is TBH; the romance was virtually non-existent and went nowhere) airing at the same time as the vastly superior Osomatsu-san... but it's one of those shows that always kept me smiling. The character chemistry among each of the four primary characters was great, and that helped the show a lot. Hotaru is forever waifu. |

| Aaaaaah, I'm so going to miss this show. I grew attached to all the characters qq. Fridays just won't be the same anymore. This last episode was pretty cute with Sayu and Hotaru. It had it's touching moments and it kind of made Hotaru shine for me.(Also, those face reads were hilarious) Kokonotsu and Saya's brother scene was also really funny. That dance. So silly of them thinking candy would make you popular. Overall a nice way to end the show and I hope it gets a 2nd season. Loved the art style and character designs even if they were pretty simple/generic-ish. |

| Too much talking about candy. Dull, hit and miss humor. For some reason I'm bothered about their small eyeballs. Hotaru is funny at first but became boring before long. She's boring and annoying. Saya is okay thought. About the main guy, the glasses guy and the dad? Mehh... 4/10. Bad |

I'm gunna miss this show, I enjoyed the comedy, the randomness, and the charming characters. I'd like to see a sequel, and I'd also love to see the manga licensed as well. I'd totally buy. Hope to see you again Dagashi! 8/10 This has to be from a doujin. I'm now on the hunt to find it! |

| A good anime to laugh a little. Not all the episodes were great, but I laughed at several parts. The Yuri scene was the best ;). And I love the songs of his dad. |
| honestly i wish the yuri scene was a real deal This was overall an average series even with the hype surrounding it? Mostly watched for the cute girls,the comedy wasn't anything too funny and some of the ecchi scenes were unnecessary tbh... 5/10 |

| Another funny episode! I very like this anime. ^^ They key is see it one episode for day, more or less, don't do a marathon and see in one o two days. You should enjoy it, day a day. |

I don't know if someone else post this already, but there is a nice "touch" if you rewatch the first episode after finishing the series. This is the first ever appearance of Hotaru in the series, and she is trying to open the same candy from the last episode. |

| It really was just 12 dagashi commercials, but I was okay with that for the first several episodes because it was informative, very funny, and a bit out there. Then after the first several episodes I felt like it started running out of steam and ideas. The finale was amusing but considering it was the final episode was pretty underwhelming. By episode 5 I would've given it a 7/10, but by the end I had to give it a 5/10. |

| Alrite, well the Yuri scene was nice. Now my Saya x Hotaru ship has some basis. Anyway, the series wasn't great, the comedy was pretty good, and the characters were great. I hope there comes a second season with an ENTIRELY different plot. Also, that ending was painfully anticlimactic. Episode: 4/10 Series: 3/10 |

| This show didn't turn out as good as I hoped, but it wasn't all bad, either. For the most part, I found Hotaru annoying and a serious pain in the neck. I figured Saya would be tsundere, but I'm relieved that she's a lot cuter than I imagined her to be, and only mildly prone to violent outbursts. A bit weak on the comedy side, but enjoyable for the most part. |

| Well that was a fun watch, I can't say I remember alot because it's been quite a while by now. But besides that, this and the previous episode were entertaining, it didn't lack comedy, the series somehow told me ALOT about dagashi, they better be true facts btw, that way I could've learned a bit too. This episode gets 3/5, as a finale it should have been better, more things should've been round up, it just kinda leaves me sad, I wanted some romance between coconuts and someone else too. The anime will get a 6/10, Tou was a great character. |

| Damn, just happened to be browsing and saw how low this show was rated. Goddamn, I read the manga before this and I enjoyed it immensely, changes and all. They adapted most of the manga chapters pretty faithfully, they just added on top of it. Which I'm very much ok with because it gives Saya development, and it kept the show from being 4 minute shorts. Everybody seems to pretty upset with the ending, I thought it was pretty fitting since it was basically the same scene as the first episode with Hotaru's arrival. Plus, between all of the promotions for candy, the big manga sales boost, and I believe decent BD/DVD sales, there can always be another season someday. |
| It was an okay show. The snack tidbits were fun, but overall it's a sleeper for me. Nothing really stood out and I don't think I'd remember this show in the long run other than it being the Snack Anime. It was nice to hear Tatsun though. |

| After the first two episodes of this show I was asking myself, what the hell am I watching? lol. Shortly after I grew to love the characters and their random daily activities. I just loved the chill atmosphere and the carefree feeling I got from their world xD |
