Find out why ;) Any recommendations guys? If you could also share some good 81-90 and 91-2000 anime I'd be extra grateful ^^ (Full length series would be best) As for 1981-1990 anime, I recommend the following: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (movie) Kiki's Delivery Service (movie) I also noticed that you have Cowboy Bebop on your PTW list. I am recommending this one to you. After looking at your list, I think you might enjoy this one, and it's another great anime to watch. Piano no Mori is another great anime to watch, and since you have watched and liked Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, I'm recommending it to you too. Hope you find an anime that you like and could meet with the challenge criterias :) |

htmljimin said: Mind recommending a few directors/studios? And mind recommending a few short anime series that aired during fall last year? Looking at your list, I might be mistaken, but you seem to not have watched any anime from studios: ufotable Gonzo Manglobe (There should be others as well, but the ones I mentioned are based on this list of your stats (and a quick search through your list): http://graph.anime.plus/htmljimin/favorites,anime [it's a good site to keep track of your stats, sorry I went ahead and looked it up without asking for your permission first, was the only way I knew to help studios-wise ^^' ]) ---- About directors, I'd recommend: Ishihama Masashi (Shin Sekai Yori) Shinichiro Watanabe (Sakamichi no Apollon or his behemoth the almighty Cowboy Bebop?) Hiroshi Nagahama (Mushishi) You could also go with Mamoru Hosoda (Ookami Kodomo, Summer Wars, Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo). This one I don't know the quality of, but I think you might enjoy Kazuhiro Yoneda's Akatsuki no Yona. -------------------- About the Fall 2015 animes: - Noragami Aragoto is the obvious choice for you - Gundam IBO (But it has a new season coming) - Osomatsu-san (if you want a comedy) Other than that, I really can't recommend anything (seems like a really lacking season). I'd say going with Aragoto is the best choice. |

@htmljimin Kara no Kyoukai(ufotable) would probably be the quickest and most painless way to do the director/studio challenge. Fall 2015 mostly sucked. OPM, Haikyuu 2(which you've seen) and Noragami 2(as suggested) were really the best things. Next tier would be Iron Blood Orphans(as suggested) or Lupin reboot. Osomatsu does seem to have a cult following. Everything else is poop sandwich. |

On Kiznaiver; an anime that focuses on non-romantic relationships, or an anime that focuses on a couple with a romantic relationship? I would also need something recommended to me (preferably something that I do not already have on my plan-to-watch list, yet something that correlates with my previously watched series). |

I only watched the first 2/3 episodes, because i thought it was bad, but from what I know from that point, the entire premise is that it's a group of people with issues that all have their senses connected. Yes, there is a couple, but the entire show is predicated on the non-romantic relationships. My rec is Ping Pong or Haikyuu |

Be a bit careful with the Digimon franchise and this children entry. I asked if Tamers could be considered, since all main human characters are indeed children, but it can't because the digimon are also main characters. I cannot speak for the rest of the franchise as there are many titles but at least Tamers does not seem to qualify. Red Garden Heroman Sci-Fi Harry |

I don't even know if all of them are human (lol) I would need a better research.... (sorry) I know what you mean about the franchise doing some weird things with its timeline but from I have seen of it, when they mix different continuities the kids are still kids, unless they show as they actual adult selves. As for the aliens, I know that all characters tagged as mains are indeed human (except, perhaps, Hakuryuu, who I don't recall at all). Will you let me know if it does indeed or should I go ahead and use it (if that one character does turn out to be human? And if not, he would still be a kid so...?)? |
