| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Watched the first episode on NicoNico. It pre-aired today. Hell, this was an explosive start. No less than 30 seconds into the episode and hell breaks loose in the city. Lol, didn't take long for our bald MC to land a punch already. Some of the characters introduced are oddly designed but I expected it. Enjoyed the majority of the episode. There's some coloring that I thought that could of been better but was quite satisfying. Fabulous! Saitama and the action delivered.  Nice to see Genos at the end too. Hoping for OP song next time but good episode. So ripped  |

| Man, I can't believe this show adapted so damn good. And from a publisher who new into anime industry, I won't surprise if they pour a lot of money into this show. |

| I'm skipping some scene obviously because don't want to spoils further "full" enjoyment, but they add some scenes, and overall covers 4 chapters in one episode. Good pace for now, i think. And they extended a "dream" fight. Animation is looks similar for Dandy's(for obvious reason)- fast, smooth, and amusing, somehow. |

And as it was said in the link, this kind of "messy, off model" animation is unique to Kameda who did these sequences so you'll only see it in sequences done by him. |

| Awesome. Didn't disappoint imo. Saitama's voice is perfect. And his serious faces are epic! Sometimes he seems way more serious than I imagine him to be during the monologues but now that I think about it, he was like that at the start of the series monologuing about life and such XD The monster designs look amazing. Love the detail. They don't disappoint being transferred from Murata's art. Dat Dream tho. Poor Saitama, too OP to even have fun. Lol'd at how the giant killed his brother and the fight against the aliens was pretty cool. Seeing Saitama being exhilarated about finally fighting a bit seriously was lots of fun. Animation was awesome. I even liked the "messy off model" animation during the fast pace action. As long as they don't overuse it I'm fine with it. Just keep a good balance of detailed art and messy art and I'll be a happy man. Better than CG. |

| Madhouse delivers! That was quite the episode. Seems like they adapted half a volume with this episode, yet the pacing doesn't seems too fast at all. Maybe because the manga didn't much dialogue moments. That anime original grocery scene was awesome. I don't mind if Madhouse makes more anime-original scenes like the ones in this episode. 4 Chapters were adapted. I'm not sure if the next episode will adapt only the mosquito fight, or more, even up to Genos' visit. Bu the looks of the pacing of the first episode. This series just might be 1 cour (with a second season later if it's successful) because by this rate, 12 episodes might be equivalent to 5 volumes. 5/5 for this episode |

| [center] The villains in this show are pretty funny. Vaccine Man looked like a violet Piccolo lol and his name doesn't sound very intimidating. And that titan killed his brother as if he was swatting a mosquito. Saitama's upset at beating everyone with just one punch but I guess overwhelming power doesn't give him the chance to experience the thrill and challenge of fighting tough opponents.  Here I thought Saitama had a stronger villain to fight but it was all a dream. Nevertheless, impressive fight choreography against the underground people. And the huge difference between his dream and reality was funny.  I'm happy with how the episode turned out and this is probably going to be one of my favorite shows next season. This guy looks interesting. Hype. |

| MadHouse sure deliver it this looks like can be one of the best anime of the season if not of the year ;D i am so hyped , and btw guys this episode was an unfinished product when the real episode aires in october gonna look even better than this , but lets be honest for an unfinished product it looks better than majority of the animes aired in this year. |

| Man, how fucking pretentious does someone have to be to say that they didn't like this episode at all? If you're one of those, you must be missing something.... like, on a human level. Great adaptation of the first 4 chapters + they even had anime original scenes. It was all I ever wanted and even more. I was extremely worried about this at first so I was underhyped, but it blew my expectations out of the water. I hope Madhouse keeps this up. 10/10 |
